Hello,

New to the board.  Searched every possible thread before this post.  Hope it is not a repeat.  This is specific to Illinois, a very unfriendly state to gun owners.  

A few questions please;

* Spoke with large shooting range in Illinois, several obtained curio and relic license and have brought SBR to range.  
*199 Trust website states this is correct.
* Can anyone in Illinois confirm or who should I contact to verify?

Yes. I just received my tax stamp for an SBR this week. You must obtain a C&R license. Then have your local chief of police for the city you live in sign off on your Form 1. Finally, send in the Form 1 with C&R license info and wait 6 months.
