So; who makes that hand-stop? Are you going to keep it a secret?

Just put this upper together.  Now I’m not sure which optic to put on it.  I originally was going with the Eotech for MK18 correctness, but after putting on the NF I’m not so sure.  Any suggestions?  Will probably switch out the scope mount for a cantilever mount.

Aero Precision Monolithic upper.

----------

It was an idea I had.  It was, very possibly, a bad idea - I won't know much more about it until I fire it, but between the nearly bull-barrel and upper, she is a heavy pistol.  I've only ever shot one somewhat lighter (than mine - not a true lightweight) 300 Blackout, so during testing for operation I will also be assessing the weight vs. recoil management.

If it doesn't seem to be doing much for it, or if it makes it unruly to hold as a pistol, I may take it all down, then use the upper for a longer-distance 18" barrel build.

You are correct, sir.  I forget what the C.O.P. stands for, and don't care enough to look it up again, but that is what is printed on the cardboard card that is partially in one of those pictures.

It seems that Aero upper is no longer available. That's a shame because I wouldn't mind having one like it.

That's a little surprising; they still have them listed on their website.

Though - with recent changes in what people prefer, they may be re-vamping it to have M-lock (sp?) or keymod.  I really don't know.

Colt AR Pistol.

Used the Colt lower receiver that Brownells sells. (Yeah, it’s got the funky roll mark. Not awful. No big tho). 11.5” Colt upper. Shockwave / KAK tube. BCM Mod3 grip. BFG sling, SureFire Scout on a Midwest Industries FSP Piccatinny mount.

Keep it loaded up with Hornady Black 75gr., for HD.

Thank you.

For a modern rifle, I'd like to see carbon fiber bottom parts for the handguard to lighten it up if I were to build something small out of it.  It really is meant for a rifle that needs a long, large scope (the one-piece upper rail is the big selling point).

It popped up on EBay immediately for me searching AR15 M-lok hand stops.  Seller is HarrisGuns for less that $10.  Links fails when I attempt linking EBay items.

Found an old school Surefire foregrip in the back of the safe... since I am +26 OAL before the brake is installed I fall under the "firearm" category.

I am LOVING this SB-PDW brace, it is SO much better than the first gen Sig Brace, and WAY more comfortable than the NEA Collapsible stock I've run.

It is a fat pig of a pistol though... especially since I popped in a Surefire 60 rounder for giggles.

Noveske 12.5" Crusader Upper built when Johnny was at the helm (RIP Mr Noveske)
PSA pistol lower with SB-PDW brace
Surefire MB556k brake
Surefire m900b Turbo head
Aimpoint Pro in a Larue mount
Magpul Mbus Pro

I'd like to add a Magpul K-grip, CMC flat trigger (got one in the safe), and a new handguard from Aero to kick the rail out to 12" then maybe add back on the old KX3 krink... thoughts?

While I'd never actually shoulder one, well yes I would because it's completely legal in Tenn, it works almost as well as any stock out there.

Looks like you've already got a Surefire Brake on there so I'd just get a Surefire Warden.  BTW... very nice Firearm!

I used my A1 upper at some two-gun drills a little while ago.  The sights have been set for years despite having heaps of shit under and on top of it (truck gun), no A2-dial to get screwed up, and at least one aficionado were impressed with seeing it (think guys who have bought their first AR's in the last 8 or 10 years I guess).

Andro crane spec 10.3 upper on a brownells a1 lower.  Debating getting another aimpoint, but there is something nice about a compact optic on a compact blaster...

Trying this again...

10.5'' AR. Lightweight was the goal, and this is 5 pounds 7 ounces with the MRO, so thats a success.
Shoots great, the Q Cherry Bomb makes a hell of a fireball, but since I plan on a few of their silencers in the future, it's the way to go.
