Anyone done it and had luck with retaining accuracy?  I imagine the rail shifts a bit, but is it enough to throw off a <50 yard shot?

Common on U.S. mil issue weapons...but then we aren't using them to aim our shots.

Fair enough.  I was just browsing the 4th sales and have a couple pistol lowers waiting on uppers.  Just thought it would be something to screw around with.
