This started off as a general JSOC thread but it's quickly become nothing more than talking about the Noveske Navy, so let's just dedicate it to that.

It's 100% AAC 300BLACKOUT. That's an EoTech G45 5x magnifier setup to swing to the left. In front is an EoTech EXPS3-2.

I think that’s the end plate that might be a little shiny from lots of finish wear.

Just thought I'd share...

I am running the lightweight commercial 10.5" barrel in 5.56 with a rifle I've been training with primarily.  Just wanted to share that I've shot well over 1000 rounds of 556 through it all suppressed with no cleaning or re-lubing (including 500 rounds through a carbine course)....   Not one hiccup, not one FTF, FTE, nada.....

The pornstar gas ports of these barrels just run and run......

People rag on Noveske for their gas port size, but there's a reason they're so reliable. Cool update dude!

I've also heard some folks do it to keep it inboard thereby keeping the "outboard" area of the weapon slicker/cleaner to make it less likely to snag on this when moving through structures and such.

Keeps the magnifier lens cleaner from lube etc from the ejection port.

I dropped my parts off at Cerekote today (two upper setups and one lower). While they were being checked in I noticed quite a bit of difference between the two HG's I had. One one had Noveske marks on both sides and the other was only on one side. Plus the finish was different (not that it matters with cerekote). I got one HG a while back from Midway and the boxing was different than the newer one direct from Noveske. Not sure which is clone correct.

One might have bee cerakoted and one might have been anodized. You're gonna want the anodized one for the proper cerakote.

More at Omaha as well

Gen 1 lower

Honestly it’s kinda crappy that Noveske is driving the used market by sayin these are discontinued but then continuing to sell them. People paying 3X as much for a lower because the manufacturer is making them “scarce”.

Dang sorry for the bad lead. Got the in stock email from them and figured I’d share since I got what I needed already from Backwater a while back.
Also FYI for anyone looking to purchase the receiver extension from Midway, they will have the engraved logo.

How bad/ghetto/Jerry rigged does this look?  I’m playing around with setup and can’t really find a good way to mount it all.  Do I have too much on it?  I know I’ve never seen anything like this in the ITW pics, but we talk about personal customization……

Of course I want you to be honest!
I didn’t try the left because I didn’t think there would be enough room the way I grip it.  I put it on like this and it’s surprisingly not that bad!  I think I’ll probably leave it like this.

Allot better, if it was me I'd ditch the dual pressure switch, use the clicky tail cap, and just use the ngal pressure switch.

I had a cqbr/mk18 setup up in a similar fashion years ago.

I used the Inline Scout MLok mount from Arisaka to get my light further forward on the left side. Further forward is more comfortable for my grip, but I also like on transitions the light will hit my leg and not a hot suppressor

Thinking of switching out my EXPS3 on riser for an NX8 with a red dot at 12. I hate that the nicest gun I have a can't run my COTS with. Other option is a magnifier behind Eotech with the COTS on a unity absolute riser, but a 1-8 seems superior. Red dot on top of LPVO should still be useable even with thermal mounted, which wouldn't be the case with a magnifier.

Has anyone else used the BH 77 TMK and had not good luck with it in these barrels also? It seems to be readily available right now. Razorcore has been what I settled on for this gun, but the TMK would really extend the frag distance.

Also considering the Barnes 70gr TSX to try.

Got ATACR inbound. Going to switch out the EXPS for that with a piggybacked red dot and give that a run. That's why I'm considering some ammo loads with longer expansion ranges for if I take this yote hunting.

That actually looks way better lol. I have an HVLP gun...maybe I'll give it my first DIY try (and maybe the Badger mount too).

Messed around with laser and light placement over the weekend. Got the light at 1:30 and laser at 3...trying to figure out a set up to allow clip on thermal. Sold my Steiner and looking to upgrade. The Voodoo/Skeetir types are just way to much. The absolute upper limit would be the Eotech ClipIR, couple of used ones up for sale. Problem is it would block my reddot. I hate that it's Chinesium, but the thermal that makes the most sense is the RH25. Shortest in length and height, and FTS capable. Trying to find the goldilocks night/day set up that I could run a carbine course with, keep beside, or go yote hunting with.

Also ordered some Black Hills 62gr Dual Performance. Will do some group testing at 100 and 275 (max range at my home).
