I have a Sporter Competition HBAR I bought pre-ban, and am trying to determine if it is a 6700, 6700S, or 6700CH. It is serial number CH12xxx, and I have the TASCO scope/B-Square, so I am thinking its the 6700CH, but I don't have a cheek piece. Is there a way to tell?

I'd give colt a call/send an email with the serial number, I'm sure they could tell you.

I did, thanks. All they could tell me is it is an R6700 made in 1993 (knew this much :) ). They didn't know anything about the trailing S or CH.

Call again and speak to someone who isn't having a case of the Monday's... They told me things about an A2 H-BAR R6600 that I was pleasantly surprised to know...
