The new Recce looks good... is that the optic you decided on or just temporary for the sake of pics?

Nice collection! You've set the bar high. Do you happen to have a pic of all of them together? I know it's a pain, but I think arsenal pictures are pretty cool.

Temporary for the pics, though I may decide to keep it on this one and get another for the other recce.

Do you currently own all of these or are they ones you have built in the past? If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living that you can  afford to build all these rifles.

Yes I am jealous.

Yes, these are the one's currently in the collection. I'm a lawyer, live in a small house, no pool, no BMW these are my children

Yeah, I just sw your other thread which explained this. I think that's a good idea since #18 is more like a true Recce rather than a mini-SPR like your other one. The mini-SPR would be perfect for a mid-powered scope.

I think the Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x might be a good one for the mini-SPR

Anyway to accomodate this request? I'd like to see a true family pic with the AK's, Garands, pistols, shotguns, grenades, RPG's, Tanks, and the Apache you got parked in the back of the house...

I make a motion that the moderators set this thread (or future updates) as an automatic response to all "Which AR should I buy?" threads . It would have the following benefits:

1) It would decrease some of the "mine's better" flame wars

2) It provides inspiration and documentation of the AR-15's possibilities

3) It would increase the U.S. GDP by at least 1%/year from the resulting increased purchasing of AR-15's & accessories

4) It should provide continuing amusement as the growing horde of AR-15 newbies make futile efforts to "catch up jcrowl"

May I have a second for the motion?

No SO at the moment, that's how... Don't really have any one favorite. The Colt GI clones probably qualify.

So what are you going to get next?

And any plans to diversify in color?  All your rifles are black (although one pic had an OD pmag).

You, sir, may have the worst case of evil black rifle disease I have ever seen.  And I salute your for that.

I may get a plain jane Colt Sporter 1,  like my very first in 1974. I'm a traditionalist so black it is

Damn dude, nice collection.

I figure that if every arfcommer had the financial means, we would do exactly the same. The couch somehow puts it all into perspective.

Just for my own edification, none of the optics, lights, etc are duplicated in the pics? Those are all high $$$ items as well. Almost as impressive as the firearms themselves....Also, which one gets shot the most?

Yes, several of the optics are the same.. Two Trijicon TA31Fs, 3 Aimpoint Comp M2s and 1 M3 I think.  And 3 different versions of Eotechs, a 551, 552

and 517.  Five of the lights are  Surefire M951s and two Surefire M600A Scout lights. The majority of the optics were purchased used, so I saved

some money.
