If they are smart....... we'll be seeing some cheap M4 parts kits with torch cut receivers
The only way these Russian bastards are going to get mine is they pry it out of my cold dead hands, but I guarantee I'll take more than a few w/ me. Fuck you Putin.
No, they were fired once and then jammed. They're Bushmasters, remember? J/K |
I sense this thread will go the way of the moron just as fast as the other one.
Obviously what happened is the crappy staking job on the carrier keys forced all of their M4's to stop functioning.
Why the Bushmaster hate? Mine have been running fine for...20 years now.
20 years ago they weren't trying to get them out the door 90 mph |
it's a business isn't it? show me the money, the American way. If some country offered you 17 million dollars would you turn it down, especially if they were made to help the Americans in Iraq?
My buddy works for Dyncorp on a State Department contract in A-stan (poppy eradication). They have Bushy M4's. No complaints yet apparently.......
Does this mean I can now put my Bushie M4 in with the Mosin Nagant/Tokerev
collection ?? Seriously, those receiver markings do look an awful lot like the ones we get here. Will this episode enhance Bushie notoriety for better or worse? One thing for sure, this subject isn't going away any time soon ! |
I would bet I have shot more rounds out of Bushys than most of the bitchers have ever thought about, all without any problems.
The fashion of today is to kick Bushy, so go ahead and follow the fashion parade! It's fun and you don't have to think! Just retype the same regurgitated shit and look like an internet expert and run your post count up. Bill |
Maybe next time we should sell all of the Hesse and Vulcans to another country. Kind-
of a clensing of the soul if you will... |
poppy eradication in A-stan? Thats like saying your going to kill all the fire ants in Texas. |
What he said ^^^^^ |
Dyncorp indeed did use Bushmaster M-4s in A-stan for the poppy erad guys, the entire time I was with them in '06 never heard a complaint about the guns. Of course I had my Colt ........................ |

Yeah, well, you get the point. |
I hope everyone knows these where Georgian Gov't property stolen by Russians from Georgian arsenal. I bet they will be abused and torture tested soon.
I hope we will realize we have more pressing problems in our Georgia with illegal aliens than this idiotic adventure
You people criticize the russians, but how else are they going to update there equipment.
The have also captured some of our humvees. Like I said, how else are the the going to up update there equipment. |
The Russians also seized other American gear, like Humvees, that had just been used in US/Georgian maneuvers. Face it, they smacked us across the face - invaded an ally and seized U.S. property - and we are in no position to do shit about it. |
I guess they weren't that interested in updating their equipment... |
At least they know whats quality and what to burn |
There was a good thread over at TOS about this too. Appearantly the Bushy is quite a new addition to Georgia so when the Russians came rolling in the Georgians set them aside for what they were familiar and trained with prior.
Lol. Can I call Bushmaster and get a special "Guns of the Georgian forces" edition AR-15?
Although I was about to post a thread about who made the Georgian AR-15s. Hmm. |
Those are 16" barrels! Look at the guy holding the burned one. Look how long it is. When I compared it to mine I was able to grab the whole barrel in front of the FSB in my hand. There's no way in hell he could do that! Some of them look like 14.5",though. |
If you were going to own a Bushmaster those would be the ones to have. It's not like BM doesn't know how to do it right, they just get away with misc crap in the commercial market but a gov contract has teeth so they do it right.
Actually, those are Israeli Negev machine guns. |
I thought that receiver looked wrong, and the spare barrel, WAAAYYY too thin, and wrong flash suppressor for an M240. Not to mention, the M249 pistol grip isn't a metal frame with grip panels. This makes more sense. |
Lets not play this game Iran Contra etc., and the fact that we armed and trained many of the people we are now fighting. Sorry, but your comment bothered me because I honestly have no idea how bushmaster selling arms helps our fighting men and women in any way whatsoever. |
They are 14.5" barrels. |
I stand corrected. Good catch. CD |
Oh yes the mystical colt would have cured all their logistics problems and made big bad russia run away in terror..... please.... Go away. |
