The more you care about something the deeper the fight will come from within.
You do not fight out of hate, but rather out of the love and compassion you have for those you are trying to protect. |

They allow you to modify your issue M-16? Interesting! By looking at it I'm guessing that's a personally owned LEO patrol rifle. Just conjecture on my part, however, since I don't know that user. |

It's Cerakote. I just use white paint and let it fill the engraved part and wipe it off carfully with CLP and a q tip. They sell crayon things called Lacquer stick at Brownells that are probably easier.

I have been bashing him for months. That latest barell length/perfomance chart posted sure does shed some light, though. The velocity was flat between 11.5 and 12.5. Love them both, just thought it was interesting. Did you catch that thread? |

I didn't see it no. Ryan and I had a pretty good discussion about 11.5 vs 12.5 barrel lengths a little bit ago and the main reason I chose 12.5 is that I am 6'2" and have pretty long arms and the 12.5 offers me a little longer rail system to hold onto. I know Ryan would chose 11.5 everday, I would take both lengths equally if offered, but obviously prefer 12.5 for the reasons listed above.
