I recently read on another forum that Bushmaster was just awarded
a Government contract.  Anyone else heard anything about this ?

I know they had a small contract in the early 80s, but I was not aware
that they were still a Gov. contractor.

Thanks,

Scott

“Government Contractor” is a all-inclusive word; a contractor to whom?  The Federal Government, a state government, a county or municipal government?????

Bushmaster need to be more specific, like RRA is with their contact with the DEA.

Approx. 1992 the president of Bushmaster/Quality parts in the early BFI/QP #VII VIII and IX catalogs claimed they just completed a contract to the U S military and were paid in full and the lowers you could buy from BFI are the same lower provided to the US military except semi auto.

Seemed reasonable at the time but now Im not so sure?

Who should one trust,  the comments of the then president of Bushmaster or internet hearsay and rumor!
