I posted a thread about some 1911's we have in the shop where I work, and in one of the photo's there was a small glimpse of our display wall. A few people in the thread and a bunch of IM's later, here's a brief overview of all the guns up on the wall today. They usually stay the same for the most part, but a lot of the guys who work here will bring one of theirs in, we'll swap them out a little now and then.

First gun is my oldest AR. Bushmaster 14.5" M4 with Vortex, ARMS #58mod, #40 rear site, SF M900, old MIAD prototype, Magpul M93 (old one!), JP Trigger, Dieter CQD sling mount, TA31 ACOG and ARMS #19LD.


Next is a mix match gun... Rock River Lower with 16" fluted barrel Bushmaster upper, KAC MRE with KAC pannels, LMT rear site, KAC cantilever Aimpoint mount, KAC Sling swivel, Aimpoint Comp XD (old one!), Vltor stock, Tango Down grip, Tango Down Vert grip, Surefire M951.


One of the newer ones, and another mix match 6.8 Recce... Noveske lower with CMT upper, Noveske 16" barrel with Armalite .308 flash hider, KAC 600m rear site and PRI flip up front site/gas block. Leupold 1.5-5 M2 in LaRue SPR mount, Magpul MIAD, Magpul CTR and PRI mags. The mags, forend and barrel are coated with Fit 4 Duty's OD ceramikote.


Next is KevB's KAC URX carbine railed gun with KAC pannels and KAC flip up front site/gas block in a 16" HBAR Colt upper on top of a regular Stag Lower. KAC 300m rear site, EoTech 553.


Now for a Noveske built SPR. Noveske matched upper and lower with LaRue 12.0 forend, LaRue gas block, Noveske 20" barrel and Vortex. LaRue bipod mount with Harris Bipod, Magpul PRS, Tango Down grip and pannels, Leupold LR/t M3 in LaRue SPR mount and Troy flip up front and rears.


Next is my 2nd oldest AR. Another Bushmaster 14.5" M4 with Phantom, KAC RAS II, KAC pannels, KAC 300m rear, KAC Aimpoint mount with Aimpoint ML2, KAC sling mounts, Aimpint Magnifier in Samson flip mount, LMT stock, Ergo grip, Magpul trigger guard, Surefire M961 and a Dieter CQD very grip. Tan finish on mags, stock, trigger guard, vert grip and pannels by Krylon!


Another Bushmaster 14.5" M4 with Phantom, Surefire rail and Magpul ladder pannels, EoTech 552 with GG&G Acu-Cam, Troy flip up rear, early Magpul MIAD prototype, ambi safety and Norgon Ambi Catch, LMT stock, Dieter CQD grip, Night Ops Gladius in Vltor mount. OD finish on stock, vert grip and mags by Krylon!


I love this gun and it isnt even mine, this and the one above belong to new-argirl. Its a MSTN build RECCE upper with LMT upper, 16.5" Lilija barrel, Vortex, KAC gas block, KAC 12" FF forend with KAC pannels, PRI Gas Buster, Nightforce 2.5-10x in LaRue SPR mount with Dr Optic mount and optic, GG&G bipod on a complete LMT lower with LMT 2 stage trigger ambi safety and Norgon Ambi Catch, and Tango Down grip. Tan finish on complete upper is by Fit 4 Duty.


Moving on to my oldest SPR MK12 Mod0. Well almost anyway. It started as a complete Armalite 20", but not much of it is left. 20" fluted Krieger barrel with Vortex, PRI 12" forend coated black, ARMS #38 SPR rail, ARMS #40L rear site, PRI slip up front site/gas block, KAC 2 stage trigger, LMT SOPMOD stock, SPR grip, Magpul trigger guard, ARMS #32 bipod mount with Harris BRM bipod and PodLock with a Surefire M981 light. ARMS #22m rings with Dr Optic mount and optic on top of a Leupold LR/t M3.


Now for some A4 clones. This one belongs to new-argirl, I'd like to get a DMR barrel for it. Right now its a Bushmaster A3 20" with Daniel Defense forend, KAC pannels, ARMS #40", Trijicon TA01 in ARMS #19 mount, CavArms A1 length stock, ambi safety and Norgon Ambi Catch, Tango down grip, Magpul trigger guard and a CMC trigger.


Another one of new-argirl's guns... the mud gun! She bought this off Hawkeye. Its a Bushmaster gun with their 20" 1/7 twist Govt profile barrel, KAC M5 forend and KAC pannels, Troy rear site, Trijicon TA31F, Houge Grip, Magpul MIAD, Dieter CQD sling swivel, ambi safety and Norgon Ambi Catch, and Vltor A1 length stock. Finish by Krylon!


My A4 parts gun is made with a Rock River lower, Colt upper, Colt gov profile 1/7 barrel, Knights M5 rail, Knights pannels, KAC vert grip, KAC 300m rear site, Surefire M951, Trijicon TA31RCOA4, old, old Magpul grip (just like the Ergo).


Now for my most used gun! KAC SR15 gun with Noveske 16" barrel, KAC flash hider, mid length KAC URX II with KAC pannels, KAC flip up front  sight/gas block, KAC 600m rear, KAC vert grip, PRI Gas Buster, Magpul MIAD, Magpul M93b, Schmidt and Bender Short Dot with LaRue SPR mount and Surefire M600 scout light with P61 bulb adapter and swing mount.


Yet Another URX II gun in 6.8! LMT upper and lower, Noveske 20" 6.8 barrel with custom Stoner 68 flash hider, KAC rifle length URX II, KAC pannels, KAC flip up front sight/gas block, KAC 600m rear and 1 piece scope mount (both anodized tan!), Leupold LR/t M2, Magpul MIAD, Magpul PRS, KAC bipod mount with Harris BRM bipod.


LMT MRP time! LMT Rifle MRP with LMT Lower, LMT SOPMOD stock and KAC 2 stage trigger, 16" stainless barrel, vortex, KAC 600m rear, Troy flip up front, NightForce 1-4 in LaRue SPR mount. PRI Gas Buster, KAC front and rear sling mounts, GG&G bipod, LMT marked Tago Down pannels, Tango Down grip, Les Baer carrier.


Dont hate me, but yet another URX II gun! Another one belonging to KevB. Rifle Length URX II with Lilja 16" barrel with KAC gas block and KAC flash hider, on a LMT upper and LMT lower with LMT 2 stage trigger and LMT Sopmod stock with Ergo Grip. PRI Gas Buster, KAC pannels, KAC flip up front and rear, KAC front and rear sling mount. ARMS #32 bipod mount and Harris BRM bipod with podlock. No scope... yet!


Mix match SPR Mod1. Old, old Colt Lower with old Magpul M92, KAC 2 stage trigger and Houge Grip. LMT upper with Douglas SPR barrel and Ops Inc brake (yes, the owner has the can to go with it!). KAC 12 FF forend, KAC gas block, PRI Gas Buster, Magpul ladder bars, KAC flip up front and rear, ARMS #32 bipod mount with Harris BRM bipod and podlock. ARMS #32 one piece scope mount with Leupold MR/t M3 scope, and Dr Optic back up.


SPRbine! Mix between an SPR and a Carbine. I think we named it this before any of us even heard about the RECCE rifles. Its and All Bushmaster 16" HBAR gun with KAC gas block, ARMS #59, ARMS #40, Trijicon TA11 in an ARMS #19ACOG mount. KAC flip up front sight, RRA 2 stage trigger, houge grip, ARMS #32 bipod mount with Harris BRM bipod. Finish by Krylon!


Now for a big one! Armalite AR10 with their 20" stainless barrel, PRI flip up front, SR25 PRI Gas Buster, and .308 Vortex. Daniel Defense 20" AR10 rail with Tango Down pannels, Magpul PRS, Magpul MIAD, LMT 2 stage trigger, ARMS #32 bipod mount with Harris BRM bipod. Nightforce 3.5-15 scope with LaRue SPR mount. Troy flip up rear. Finish on barrel and mags is KG Koat.


Lightweight is my 3rd oldest AR and is another mixmatch gun. Old Stop sign logo Oly lower with Colt A1 upper and internals, Colt Govt Carbine barrel with HyPerform Carbon Fiber FF forend. Old Colt 4 postition stock and Trijicon TA47 optic.


Another MRP! This was one of last years Shot Show specials. LMT CQB MRP that came with 16" 5.56 barrel and 16" 6.8 barrel (6.8 barrel is installed here). We got a pair of those HK sights that were made for the AR's, Aimpoint ML3 with LaRue mount, LMT marked Tango Down pannels, LMT lower with SOPMOD stock and Ergo Grip.


Just built this Recce for a guy. I think he picks it up Saturday! Colt upper with 16" Douglas barrel, PRI gas block and Vortex. LaRue 12" rail, Tango Down pannels, Tango down vert grip, Trijicon TA31F, Troy flip up front and rear that have been KG Koated, There's an LMT lower with Houge grip and Vltor stock as well.


And FINALLY! New-argirls AR10 carbine. Armalite AR10 carbine with Daniel Defense 12" AR10 rail, Troy flip up front and ARMS #40L rear. Trijicon TA55A optic with Tango Down grip and Vltor stock.

Years ago I caught BRD from new-arguy.  He's contagious.  Now look what I do for a living.

P.S.  I, too, had a SIR when they came out because of your write-up on it.  It was the "heat" back in the day.

Well, over the last four years or so, the shop has changed quite a bit. We are certainly more of a specialty shop now, but we try to help anyone who comes in if we can special order something for them. There's a fair amount of people who come in and arent quite sure what all of this is about. While no one has said anything, and I doubt they would, maybe some folks just think we're crazy. But since the change, business has been better than the owners have ever seen in their apx 15 years being open. So they're all for it!

The people who do turn tail and run are the people who are looking to buy stuff cheap. I dont think there's a handgun in the store less than $400. Same for AR's, we are pretty selective in the brands we'll carry. We dont carry or even service pretty much all the lower end and bargain brands you'll see. While we never carried them, we tried servicing them for a while and it was just worthless. Poorly made parts that you just couldnt get to work, poorly made recievers that wouldnt accept a better quality part. I gave up.

While I know we arent cheap, I think we are reasonable and try to offer a lot for your money.

What size moniter do you have????

There are only a few people who know what N2R means. I preffer to keep it that way. It's really nothing special, in fact, it wasnt even me who named it that.

Still nothing from Magpul. I have a fairly large order in from January we are still waiting on. I hope it comes in soon. I am running critically low or am 100% sold out of almost everything Magpul!

Maybe when that order comes in the commercial CTR's will be in the box!?

Kev took that lower and all thats here right now is the upper. So I've got a different lower on it at the moment!

Well... yes and no. I wont give a customer the one off the wall, but I have about 95% of what it takes to build any of them in stock. So I'll build them a replica if they like. Usually people build it to their own taste though, asking for "the rail like on that gun, the stock from that one, the optic from this one" etc, etc.
