My one lefty - A WOA built upper with a 18 inch SPR barrel with DCM float tube - Very plain Jane, but shoots (accurate) like a house of fire and is part of  my 3 gun setup.

Is the brass really that big of a promblem?

If I where a lefty I think I would want a left handed lower before a left hand upper.

for me its not the brass but the gass that is a problem.

Here's what I have so far of my lefty. Just showing 1 of the 25 mags I have. Waiting for parts really sucks.

You can get most ambi parts (safety and mag release) for the lower except the bolt release.

If you have not done so as yet... you should try a lefty and see?  My first was a RRA Entry Tactical... and very glad I decided to build my STAG lefty.  The RRA will most likely just sit in the safe.

here is my first

and start of #2

I think what he meant by lefty lower is a real lefty mag release, ambi selector and bolt catch on right side? Not that they exist.

yeah

They added the brass  deflector to keep the brass out of lefties faces.
And to me just praticing check weld and dry firing left handed, my biggest promblem is gettin to the mag realsease

use your right hand to get to the mag release and it is pretty easy

I'm left handed when I write something, or throw something, but I shoot right handed...

makes it easy to shoot and throw hand grenades at the same time!

Here's my SPR on a STAG lefty upper built by WOA/PDC and i've got a second lower that I just got my form 1 back on, so it'll be SBR'd as soon as I get my left handed 10.3" upper back from CMMG (anyday now) post that one when it's finished. Barrel has been KG'ed since the pic..looks great.

So the ejection port cover flips UP instead of down to avoid from blocking the Bolt catch release... very interesting.
