Some info, specs and pics of the new Magpul M95 Precision Rifle Stock
Specs: Weight: 1 lb 12 Oz. Length closed: 10.25" Length full extended: 11.25" Cheek Piece Maximum Travel: .750" Features: Installs with standard A1 buffer tube Uses standard AR/M15 buffer and spring Sling mounts can be moved left or right side of buttstock with 2 allen screws Butt plate is made of .mil spec anodized billet aluminum Adjustment rings are anodized aluminum Simple to install as a standard A1 or A2 buttstock. 1 screw. I don't know what the material is used in the stock itself, but is feels great. Not plasticky at all and top quality. I drop tested this one 4 times from up to 4 feet onto my deck and there was no damage and the stock adjustments worked just like they did before the drop test. The aluminum butt will definately stand up to the heaviest butt stroke you can muster. All in all this will be the shit for any AR/M16 platform precision rifle. The amount of adjustment in the butt plate is adequate to adjust for different outer clothing and also flexible if shooters of different statures, neck lengths etc are sharing the rifle. Been waiting a long time for this and in my opinion it has met all my expectations and in terms of material, fit and finish has exceeded them.  im not keen on stock weights, how much more does that way than say, a sopmod or vltor? 6-7 ounces? |

When will this stock be available to purchase?...and is there an estimated price? Great job Magpul on an awesome stock and great job Denny on the rifle...it looks awesome! |

I am not up on stock weights either. This rifle is no light weight. The barrel is exact Crane contour, read heavy and the scope, rings are not light either. This ain't no packin' rifle. This rifle is designed to put a lot of hate down range, accurately, at long distances, quietly  Here's a couple of groups out of this bad dude with and without the can. Ammo was crappy Black Hills re-manufactred stuff with various brass. It does much better with Fed Match  Denny |

Sweet! I was worried the M95 would be some collapsable stock that would make my M93 obsolete! I don't need one of those... yet.
Though, that picture almost makes me want to build a precision AR... or .50 BMG. |

Magpul is still tweaking on it. That is why I got one to beta test and critique. Shooting for end of October. But that is just an estimate. Denny |

Is that stat on the length accurate? 10.25 - 11.25"
One inch of adjustment seems understated, since it looks as though your adjustment (for your rifle and yourself) seeems to be more than that. what am I missing? or is your preferred adjustment fully extended. Looks quite sturdy. |

Denny, Nice review. Did you have the scope mounted that far back before you put the stock on there? Just curious. Looks like a pretty comfortable setup. There had been talk in other threads about how far back the cheek piece is relative to the rear of the upper reciever. Nice setup! I need an SPR.

maybe they will add a rear monopod into the design. then you could get fine adjustments.no more bean bags or towels

The SHOT Show pics showed a M95 with a length of rail at the base of the stock. It was sporting a Harris bipod(!) Anyone else recall those pics? |

Look below the adjustment nut for the cheek rest. I believe that piece of the stock slides off, exposing a rail for mounting a monopod or whatever |

That is a Troy suppressor. It is reflex can and mounts like the Ops Inc except the threads for the can and the rear collet are one piece and retained by the flash hider. You can use the flash hider of your choice. Denny |
