Damned Arabs and their buried 155mm rounds...I wonder if they'll let me send it in for warranty service?

WOW!  Hopefully you look better than what remains of that M4.

Wear your body armor kids!

Holy...

Apparently M4arc was a prototype tester for the new ARMS throw lever hand grenade mount.

Are the optics still functional????????????

Aww hell no.  The only part not ruined was the top adjustment screw cap.  The front lens is gone and the rear is shattered.  Also the fiber-optics are gone so there would be no reticle.

This was 6 months ago, but I just got a tuff-box back that was lost in the mail.  As a testament to Trijicon...it fared better than the M4 obviously.  Maybe I can find my PEQ-2 and M900A when I go back in 2 months.

Be safe over there.  We hope NOT to see any more damaged equipment when you get back.

Come on tell us the details, and post a pic of the rest. Or is that all their is left.

Oh ya and by your pic I can tell you have a strong life line.

That's all I got back.  The rifle was resting out the side of a ghetto-armored humvee, and it ate most of the blast.  The round was detonated about 15m away.  It gives you a new respect for artillery.  At least this one was buried and not coming from the top.  There were no major casualties taken...which is a miracle...and we all waited for a recovery team to come get the damaged trucks.  That op was indexed, I think we'd been had at that point.  Surprise wasn't in our favor any more.

WOW

I am glad you faired much better than your scope.  Was that issue or did you bring that with you to the sand box?  I would shoot a email off to Trijicon just for the hell of it and see what they say, just inform them you have a minor issue with one of their scopes.

Stay safe and tank you for your server to your country.

Matt

No way!  It's a keeper regardless.  That is something that can never be replaced.  It will blow the hell out of our grandparent's "uphill-both-ways-in-the-snow" stories.
