Good call on not shipping it with a whack trigger though. That's the one thing that would have caused me to send it right back. |

Can't wait for it....I'm really glad they are taking their time now, since they were saying they are still having issues that they are working through. This gun needs to be glock ready....right from the start. They know that as well. |

Obviously, the base model at $299.99. The complete frame with lower parts at $99.99? A month ago, I believe the model with an RMR cut was three weeks behind the base model. Any chance the RMR cut model "caught up"? Will we see a RMR cut model this month, too? |

Thank you, Josiah.
Until we hear otherwise, I'll hope for an end of June DAGR base model ship date based on your video last week with Hank Strange. Obviously, if you can ship the base model this month, you can ship the complete frame this month. I can run the frame with my OEM G19.3 upper until which time as the DAGR RMR-cut slide (rear iron sight forward) is available. This will let me get a feel for the ergonomics of the DAGR grip and the Smith & Wesson hinged trigger. Thanks again. |

I have shunned hinged triggers due to my fanger pointing to to 1pm instead of 12 noon from the last joint but maybe I'll have to try this one if it does what's claimed here. The hook in S&W type triggers start taking a piece of my finger after 50-75 rounds, which any curved trigger does. Will there be some sort of completely flat trigger mod or will it take aftermarket flat triggers? I'm very interested especially at that price point.

i cant wait for these either. really wish though that the threaded barrel version would be released on the same day though as the regular version.

Come on, Josiah. Throw us a bone. Give us something. Thanks to you, this thread is the best source for PS9 DAGR information, but things have been rather quiet lately. Quick update? New issues? |

Honestly im starting to get put off by psa just assembling with others parts. They keep say parts supply chain. So most or all of the gun is made out of house. What companies parts are they using? Saw the gd threads about what ever lpk they can get and if you dont buy the fn barrel it could be mossberg or any random company.

View Quote With out of house parts what really matters is the QA standards they hold the suppliers to. You could have the same part coming out of the same shop, and runs for one customer are checked at close intervals with tolerances in .0001", and the parts for the other customer are checked at first piece only with tolerances in .010" and ran until a punch breaks. It really just depends on the customer. |

Hey @wickedbeernut....we got some more info out of them!!!...lol...I'm guessing they are going to launch next week...Thursday/Friday. This is really the best part of what they said "We are getting it right the first time". My only advice to PSA, would be to ONLY make optics ready slides. No new duty ready gun should be made without it. |

For an extra $50, the PS9 DAGR with an RMR cut, suppressor-height sights and threaded barrel is a MUCH better value. As with the RMR cut, if you’re not ready for a suppressor or compensator, keep the (included) cap on. |

Are you guys aiming for the Dagger to be something new and 'better' than other 9mm pistols that are currently available, or are you aiming for it to be mostly 'a good affordable pistol'?
How is the Dagger better than say the Taurus G3 or the IWI Masada, etc which are also in the 'budget friendly' price category? What does the Dagger offer or do well or better than other pistols in the same price range? Waiting a long time for this pistol to be released, but trying to justify waiting longer. Thanks! |

What does the Dagger offer or do well or better than other pistols in the same price range? View Quote Well, in theory, it does everything exactly the same as guns costing 2-3x as much. Its "glock compatible". If it does what its supposed to, it'll be at least as accurate and reliable as a glock. Or if you haven't seen the polymer80 guys, they're building "glock compatible" guns and spending way more than the cost of a factory glock. The dagger will be similar to those guys, but as a much lower cost. And compared to the other budget guns that are not glock compatible, the Dagger right out of the gate will have 1000x more 3rd party support. A whole ocean of magazine options, aftermarket sights, triggers, billet/extended/low-profile mag releases. Drop in barrels, threaded, ported, caliber swap, extended, stainless, etc. Can you get a 9mm G3 and run out and buy a threaded 357sig barrel and a drum magazine? |

View Quote For example, PSA has consistently said they'll release the complete (with lower parts) PS9 DAGR frame on day-one for $99.99 MSRP. Although not on day-one, PSA has also assured us they'll offer an 80% version of the PS9 DAGR frame. Imagine a complete PS9 DAGR 80% frame for $79.99 MSRP? And PSA doesn't sell hardly anything at MSRP. Q: Will PSA offer a slide with the rear iron sight cut in front of the RMR? A: Chad Wylie said, "I don't see any issues with the forward rear sight slide cuts. Maybe not day one but it is definately something we can do." As far as I know, if this comes to fruition, PSA would be the first company in the entire industry to offer a G19.3 RMR-cut slide rear iron sight forward ... certainly the first "budget" slide of its type. Industrywide, 40 to 50% of RMR-cut Glock slides are milled rear iron sight forward. Imagine a PS9 DAGR slide RMR-cut rear iron sight forward for $99.99 MSRP? These are just two examples, but this is where I see the PS9 DAGR changing the industry ... more so than a complete G19.3 knock-off for $299.99 MSRP. |
