$1190 plus tax, a magazine, lock and book. I took the MOE SLK off my OEM 1 and threw it on too, not sure what optic yet either.

Nice.
I am glad they used the centurion mlok rail. As for an optic, have you considered a TA33 model ACOG?
Can you please take a close up picture of the gas block through the handguard holes?

Did Colt go with a cut down FSB or a dedicated gas block? (hard to see in the picture on my laptop)
The prototypes had a gas block but from what I remember being told they were going to use cut down FSB's.

Cut down FSB. Took it out today in 25 degree weather and I can't believe how well it ran. I put 60 rounds of Wolf gold through it and it made the neatest pile of spent cases @4 0'clock about 6 feet away. I didn't really shoot it for accuracy but I did get it sighted in, I was out of targets so I brought a couple of paper plates and sighted it in at 50 yards and my tightest 5 shot group was 2 to 2.5 inches but the white plates were on a white background with only using a set of MBUS as I was more concerned today with function.
I'am more than happy so far.

6960 looks lovely! I'd love an upper kit with a heavy barrel.

What is the lower roll marked on these? Same as a 6920?

Can someone measure the gas tube on their CCU. I believe they are not standard 11 3/4" midlength gas tubes but rather are 12" in length.
