First let me be transparent and say the vortex was a gift to myself via the EE. After reading countless threads about the Viper PST, I committed to working out a deal with an arfcommer no longer in need of his. Let me also be clear that I trust this forum member and believe him when he stated he was unaware of the reticle issue I immediately noticed upon receipt. See pic.
I'm sure many of you agree that more important than specs , price or fads, customer service is the only thing that really matters these days. Obviously great glass from a reputable company can't hurt but coupled with a fully transferable no bullshit warranty.... Now you're on to something you have to make good on. So back to the Viper PST.......
After seeing the reticle was clearly off(almost like it was hairy), I called vortex. I emailed them a pic prior and they pulled it up while I was on the phone with them. Literally 10min later, I had a UPS shipping label emailed to me and they ack. they needed to make it right. I ran to ups and within one hour of dropping off, I got an email that a new one was to be at my doorsteps in 3 days!!!!
Vortex you have a lifelong promoter. Buy with 0 reservations.
