So I'm looking to build a 16" AR that'll shoot 1MOA. I'm leaning towards the PredatAR barrel because of the weight savings over the Stealth barrel even though it sounds like the Stealth will shoot a tighter group. Thoughts? I also feel like the Stealth would be wasted on me because I'm not that good of a shooter and will be keeping it cheap too.

So the best test target I have out of several LT rifles is out of a tAR. The accuracy is the same IMHO unless your getting the gun hot in which case the stealth will maintain the groups longer.

Go tAR. I have a stealth and I don't mind the extra weight, but for offhand shots or improved rests light weight is the key.

Anyone know the wait time on barrels?

Fairly certain all barrels are in stock right now. Got my Stealth 20" within 4-days of ordering it.

Wife is going to freak because I just bought a CZ Scorpion Saturday but I just snuck in a order for a 16" tAR

I was in your same boat but I went with the stealth. It doesn't seem that heavy to me so I'm perfectly happy with it. I'm running a pretty light weight rail on it so that offsets it. My next build will be using a predatar barell I think, just not sure the length!

It's only an addiction if you're trying to quit

18 inch TAR or 20 inch stealth for long range (600-700) yard shooting? I would like to keep it as light as i can without compromising accuracy or ability to hit after it gets hot.

Could the difference in lead time be m4 ramps or rifle ramps? I'll be ordering 1 or 2 more here soon, probably a 18" and 12" stealth. Got my first Larue barrel few months ago and I couldn't be happier with it, a 12" stealth I'm sending to Adco this week to be cut to 10.5".

I was told 4-6 weeks for my 20in Stealth with M4 ramps. I imagine there was a big rush that July 4th weekend because that is when the sale was supposed to end. I ordered on the 4th. Mark extended the sale another 6 months.

I was told on the 8th that it'd be 4-6 weeks for my 16" tAR but I got charged and a shipping notice today. It was a nice surprise email on my birthday

Happy Birthday
Maybe I'll get something by August..... |
