That's right.
We fought it out here amongst ourselves and the "sell 'em the damn things" side won. Here's the deal - we are only selling to bonafide dealers. If you are a California resident, you'll have to talk your dealer into buying the rifle from us (yes, we'll give him a dealer discount), then he'll sell it to you. We tend to take caution a step or two further ... and still do. ML ETA - Bump this if it is relevant to your interests. |
|
So does that mean you make em CA compliant or the dealer does? Just curious

Well looks like Commiefornia will finally get the LaRue love......

Perhaps we should do a California-only contest for a matched set of PredatAR rifles (5.56 & 7.62) ??
You know, for making them wait so damn long and for their having to put up with the gun laws that they've somehow got themselves over-run with ?? Of course there'd be some details to hammer out ... just one of 'em being must be old enough (whatever that is over there) and a member of Calguns or ARFcom prior to this post ... etc. |

Good on you Mark. I'm sure CA will be better off with Larue goodness floating around more readily.

Awesome news Mark! Are you going to ship them with bullet buttons or will the dealer need to supply it?
|
|
When I held the 5.56 Predator at SHOT I wanted to use it to hunt pigs. Larue plus bullet button equals pig hunt. There is a reason why I own Larue products and suggest others do to.
I own PG 2. |

Mark, THANK YOU!
I'm well on the way to saving up for a GAP bolt rifle but now I think I'll be going with one of your OBRs that I've been drooling over! Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I don't understand the 'only sell to dealers' shit, but it's better than nothing I guess.
Every other AR company that sells in California seems to do ok selling to the lowly citizens. But no matter what it is always nice to see a company support ALL gun owners! Thanks LaRue for putting out the effort to support those behind enemy lines instead of just saying 'fuck 'em it's their fault' as so many do. Oh, and ownership rules are the same as any state. You could do a raffle of both with no issues.

I may not live in commiefornia but I would like to thank LaRue Tactical for making their rifles availabble to them |

Well Mark this is a great day for me! After jumping through insurmountable (sp?) hoops for my Stealth, OBR, and OBR Lite rifles, this has now finally come to an end....I knew this day would come and I thank you greatly!!
Got my 7.62 PredatAR on pre-order with you fine folks already and now with the addition of this great news, as a testament to you I'm gonna call in tomorrow and pre-order the .556 PredatAR to complete my LARUE Rifle Armory! I'd love to enter the drawing! Calguns member check, ARC.COM member check! LARUE rifles and service 2nd to none! |
