I guess we won't hold that against you.
At least until they start ordering OBR's! |
|
Too bad they weren't buying your stuff when I was in. The guys would have saved a good amount of money if the government felt like footing the bill. (At least for your regular everyday grunts. The cool guys probably have it all.)

Delays happen and LaRue quality is worth waiting for.
Keep doing what your doing because you're doing it right. |
|
I don't believe you. You will need to send me a sample of each, or I call BS!
Seriously though, its good to know our guys aren't only getting arms stuff and either living with it being broken(not if, but when), or being forced to buy better stuff on their own dime. Just get my OBR out dag-gun it! ETA |

A comment about our delivery lead-times ... M. LaRue As some of you know, instead of our knock-em-dead overnight turn-arounds, we're now in a period of taking as much as a couple weeks to ship some of our online orders ... ... and to a market that we have hooked on overnight service - that ain't good. Here's the deal - we are temporarily a wee bit loaded with building more Warfighter stuff than usual ... and folks that know us know that America's Warfighters always get first dibs here. Yeah, the word is out, we do a little Warfighter work now and again. Please bear with us as we finish up and get back to our speed business ... won't be much longer now. I'll just fire this for effect ... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y44/mfingar/LT%20Ads/SEMPER-FI-Ad.jpg Shut-up and build rifles!! ...let them boys who need this stuff get them first...I'll keep waiting with a smile on my face |

Needless to say, but I'll do so anyway; I'm happy to do business with a company that puts our warfighter's welfare first. I say put a stamp or note on every "warfighter delayed" shipment that proudly states "Your order was delayed so an American Warfighter could go in harms way with tools he needs." No apologies needed.

One day I may be able to do that though. |

I ordered my Aimpoint and mount a while ago. I don't mind the delay and will never bitch about waiting while our troops are getting taken care of.

Well done and well played. Our Warfighters should come first.

Never had an issue with waiting for LT. Keep up the good work and I will continue to place my orders.

Mark not a problem. The boys with their butts on the line need stuff more than we do.
+1 for Live Free or Die Stickers |

Now maybe the rest of the Military will pick up on this, instead of just the Marines. I had the pleasure of good ol' thumb screws on my ACOG when in country, and I would tighten that sucker down so tight to make sure it didnt move, that when I went to try and take it off I would have to have a screw driver. Of course at least thumb screws hold compared to a rickety ol' shit box ARMS throw lever. Congratulations to the crew at LaRue for a job well done.....................................Now get my Manfrotto ball head and my LT-666 to me!!!!!!!!!!!............I have some rather unique plans I think everyone will enjoy for these components. |
|
I'll admit, I volunteered for wee hours watch just so I could play with mounting up the PVS-24 at a PB I was working out of. Extremely nice.
I really want to have one of the TA31RCO/RMR setups. |
|
I had the ACOG mount my last time around in the sandbox. I think I'm gonna try out a H-1 (or T-1 if funds allow) with a LaRue mount come this fall when I have to go back. I need to get on the ball and start saving my pennies so I can get it before I leave. If I don't get one, I'll just rock the ACOG til I get settled. I'm not a grunt and those guys need the good gear better than I do. Mark, take all the time you need to get them out the the guys.

I think that is a pretty good idea. Anyway thanks for the update. I know when I ordered a mount and optic the other day they quoted 10-14 day delay. Glad to know it is for good reason. |

After a bit of reflection, I realized that my original suggestion is in need of a minor, but critical, addition. It should read: "Your order was delayed so an American Warfighter could go in harms way with the tools he needs." |

Again mark Amazes us but We know how good he is at Supporting our military.
Ty sir for Putting their Needs First. |

Nothing new... three years ago, during a deployment, I ordered a Leupold CQ/T that was backordered. I called to see how long it would take, and they said there was one in the shop they were using to build a demo rifle. Rep I talked to said I needed it more and a little over a week later it was mounted on my weapon. Been a regular customer ever since. Glad to see the military's footing the bill a little more nowadays. Keep up the good work.

The 4XDOS and tactical trailer-hitch bumper sticker billboard & bottle opener (TTHBSB&BO) I ordered can stay on hold for a while until you've got enough spares in stock to get them out to us folks in the states.

Well someone in the higher ranks of the Marines must know something about quality.
