That is one sweet rifle. Is what i'm a little curious about is.... what exactly is the point? Larue already has tons of awesome 5.56 rifles(stealth uppers), what exacty will this new OBR-Lite do better then a stealth built gun?

I suppose it will probably be a piston upper with a selector like the OBR.
I can't seem to find ITS tactical's twitter stream, does anyone have a link? |

I'm guessing it may be quite a bit LITER than a stealth as well...but I have been wrong before. Still want more info...Maybe I'll get to shoot one at the LT3G! |

Think of it kinda like a VLTOR MUR(Stealth) compared to a VIS (OBR-Lite).
Even though I own a Stealth I WILL OWN a OBR-Lite....that thing is BADASS!!!!!! |

So weight! |

OK, so Mr. Fingar says that it's $1995 for the OBR-L. My question is, is that just bare bones with an A2 stock? Does it have any sights at all? Is it a 1:8 polygonal like the stealths?
INFO, MAN...INFO!

INFO, MAN...INFO! Maybe they are designing a LaRue collapsible stock for the new OBR lite?! That would be sweet if they did.......but I don't foresee that happening anytime soon. I'm would guess it would come in a few different barrel length choices, the rest of the completed upper, no irons(unless ordered), complete lower(Geiselle Trigger?!), and your choice of stock(Again whatever you order). I'm sure Mark will decide on a standard stock that is included in that $1995 price, but we will have to wait and see what he decides on. |

damn, I seriously do not make nearly enough money. too many awesome guns and too little money.

Fingar says he will drop in later tonight with more information, to ease all the wondering minds out there!
|

know what I was just getting ready to pull the trigger on
a 20 inch stealth upper... I just don't know if this is like the 7.62 obr and pre order January and get December looks real nice might just have to wait |
|
I'm not sure how interested I am in a 5.5 OBR. I really don't try to shoot with much precision with 5.56, so i don't think I need the monolithic top rail, and all the extra bells and whistles. I guess I'll just order another stealth upper and lower.
Then again, maybe my mind will change when I get to fondle it tomorrow morning. |

I held this little wonder about two hours ago. The handgaurd is smooth like its big brother but a little smaller in dimension..Feels great! Looks Great! Can't wait!

The handguard is really small, but has raised parts for the rails going down the whole length, so you can hold it well. I didn't talk to Alfred much about it because they were swamped, so not many details. BUT The handguard is bolted on similar to the OBR, so it is a new upper. The top rail is full length, with no angle. If I didn't already have a precision 5.56, I would definatly pick one of these up. They are real nice. They will probably preform much better than my rig, but she has given me so much joy, I could never replace her (read: I don't have the money to justify another 5.56 rig just because it is so damn nice). Besides I already have one of it's bigger brothers on the way |

Looks kinda strange from that pic. Interested in seeing how this is different/better then the standard stealth.
|
|
to bad i just received my 18" stealth. my next order will be for an OBR.
|
|
Wow!! They did really keep that under wraps pretty well. Very nice indeed.

Thank you for bringing that up. |

can you disclose when we may be able to place an order and if they are ready for immediate delivery or if there is a wait period similar to the big brother.
LT-762 is the official name for the bog boy; what is the designator for this rifle? Thanks and stay safe, Mark! |
