Please, please make a Gen 3 SS anywhere from 10.88" to 12.1" actual length. Its for the 6.8 SPC, 12.5" mid length hunting rifles with silencers. I've been thinking about cutting down a 12.625" to about 11.9" but it would look kinda weird and would be awfully thin at the front of the slots. The 10.5" M-lock that is on it now barely covers the gas block so the gas adjustment screw could get bumped.
Also, is Foliage / OD Green permanently discontinued?

At this time we do not have any more handguard lengths in prototyping.
As far as green, sorry but nope.
We take FAR too many calls from people because our colors dont match their magpul, tango down, BCM etc product.
Thank you,
PETE

Thanks for the reply. I thought there might be a chance when I saw the thread introducing the 18" Gen 3 M-Lock handguards. I hope you'll consider making 11-12" Gen 3 SS in the future. It seems like 12.5" mid length is popular, at least in 6.8SPC.
People actually complain that the green parts from different manufacturers don't all match? Wow. I just looked at it as a good color to break up an otherwise all black rifle for hunting.
Thanks again for answering my questions.

Aluma-Hyde II or Duracoat is your friend. I have done several of my MI forends with both finishes. Duracoat is thinner so tolerances are less affected and Duracoat is not prone to damage from Lock-tite like Aluma-Hyde II is, at least while the finish is not totally cured.
Personally, I like the Duracoat better and the color selection is HUGE. You do NOT need to scuff the factory finish before applying either finish. Clean and spray, then let it cure and both are very durable but Aluma-Hyde will be thicker.
