That's total BS. It amazes me how people drink the Cool Aid on this site. Magpul could put their name on a pile of dung and call it gold and people like you will come running with your wallet wide open.
I'm saying it again and I know it burns peoples arse's but the M3's will go down as a failure.
You know damn well a new version of the pmag is underway now at Magpul. I hope, I really hope there is a trade in program for the M3's when its successor is introduced.

Hi,
I wouldn't worry about this. Per Magpul your magazine will still function normally...with the cracks. Actually, most cracks I have seen are along the spline.

Hold on, now.
My 10, 20, and 30rd M3's are all fine. Nothing wrong with my first and second gen 30rd mags either, but I
love the 10 and 20 round M3's. (Old school
straight body 20rd mags I am not a fan of, they can't keep up with high ROF guns.) It seems to be just the 40's that (might) have any sort of widespread issues.
Also, this is some rando claiming to speak for Magpul, not an actual Magpul rep.
I just got my replacement mags in the mail today. For free! Will be returning the cracked ones in the mail tomorrow.
