The Magpul MOE series has garnered quite a bit of attention from lots of different types of shooters and manufacturers. The Magpul Original Equipment Pistol Grips have now been brought into production, and are going to be available in all the standard Magpul colors.
For those who are unaware, MOE standards for Magpul Original Equipment. I've been using the MOE pistol grip, and shooting pictures of them for a little while now, and have no doubt at all that these will be as durable as the MIAD. I've got a review written up as well as additional pictures for the MOE pistol grip at the below link for those who are interested. www.weaponevolution.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3666#post3666 I'll update this thread with pictures, and answer whatever questions I can based on my experiences with the MOE products. As more MOE products come online, and as Magpul authorizes the release of additional pictures and info for upcoming MOE items, that will be posted in this thread as well. Hopefully other people will do the same. |

Great pics as always. can't wait to see the rest of the production MOE gear.

Outer Space Treaty? Ocean Surface Temperature? What is ost?? |

Old School Tack |

Nice, but I still prefer the MIAD grip which I installed recently

Like what (other than cost less)? |
They look pretty cool. |
Stick,
Do you know if they are releasing the MOE Plus version along with this? The "Plus" version is the same grip with a rubber overmolding incorporated for a tackier grip. According to their catalog, it will retail for $3 more dollars than the plain, MOE version (which is the same polymer as the MIAD from what I understand). |
The Magpul Original Equipment series should cover pistol grips, handguards, and stocks. |

I'm pretty sure that Drake is beating the hell out of Santas elves in an effort to get them ready before the Christmas rush. |
Until otherwise directed, I have no idea what you are referring to. I wish people hadn't played their cards the way they did with nonstop complaining, but because of it, I can understand Magpul staying quiet with things until they are released. |
I have a pic of the plus around here somewhere... no guarantees that I can find it though...
Who's complaining? I'm just looking at their 2008 Catalog which they published, and seeing as how the MOE grip line is being released, I'm just asking if they are releasing the "Plus" version concurrently? It's just a curiosity thing ...... What I'm really interested in is the ACS, but that's another thread. |
I don't think I can recall you over being a complainer on this board, or any of the others I see you on. If my comment came across that way, you have my apology, it was not meant that way. There are others who have complained whenever Magpul has given information, and have not released items quickly enough for their liking. The ACS has interest to me as well. |
That's cool. I remember some months ago starting a thread encouraging them to do HG's. Dunno if they already had them in the works. |
Thanks. I tries not to piss and moan too much. Whenever you get a prototype or T&E ACS, pics must follow immediately. MUST!!!! Actually, I'll be interested in reading testers' opinions and observations on the ACS vis-a-vis the E-Mod. The two share some similarities, but from what little I gathered from tha catalog, I think the ACS looks to capture the smooth cheekweld of the SOPMOD and the storage design of the E-Mod. But I have no idea what the sling mounting options will be. Cheers. |

Some pictures of the MOE in prototype status here..... LINK |

Holy Shit!! Magpul is making Armored Combat Suits? Look out Posleen! |

I just ordered a MOE grip from Magpul.
Will report when it arrives! |
Stickman have you seen any samples of the MOE Plus Grip...
One piece rubberized version of the grip? XM15carbine |
I have no comment about items not currently released by Magpul, or not already announced. I am aware of the item, and think it has great possibility.
Same here. ETA: 2 weeks. |
You serious? I sincerely hope it won't take 2 weeks... that is shoddy. |
I like the looks of the grip and the stock, but the HG's are going to take some getting used to looks wise.
No friction lock Lighter weight and simpler too. |
IIRC, there isn't a QD mount either. |
You remember correctly ! |
Alright! - order placed.
now to just wait for that MOE stock. |
Received & installed my grip today & it's a keeper!
Well made, fits the lower perfectly, & the grip angle is damn near identical to the ErgoGrip, which means that it fits my hand like a glove. If I didn't buy two new ErgoGrips a couple of months ago, all three of my carbines would be sporting MOE grips. If I had it to do over again, I would have held off & gone full tilt MOE! Magpul does it again! |
Yep, I just got mine the other day and am really likely it so far. Thanks MagPul! |
Any word on when the MOE stock will be available? I'm really interested in these, though I really wish they'd kept the QD mount on it...
