Whatever happened to these, did the Aussie contract not come to fruition? I can't imagine Aug mags being profitable without a government contract. I'm just curious because I think they would look really cool in the new white Augs, much more stormtrooper.

I was going to say that we already had threads on the Magpul AUG mags, but it looks like it they are all archived now. Doing a search, the last time I saw anything from Magpul was in March, when they said soon.

We had to import a factory made, issue rifle to run final tests on. It took a while due to various .gov departments being involved in the import process. That said the testing is complete and magazine is in the final stage to be released.

Would you be able to comment on how many rounds put through the F90, and what malfunctions/parts breakage you encountered during testing?

We cannot officially comment on anything about the F90 other than we are conducting PMag compatibility testing with it.

Will these be compatible with the newer Steyr AUGs available in the CONUS? I just like to have MagPul mags for all my guns - hell I might buy a Glock just for your mags!

The new AUG PMags should be compatible with all versions of the Steryr AUG using the standard AUG Mag.

Should?
I'll send you $20 and you can send me a magazine. I'll let you know if it fits from the STG77 stock, A1, and A3 stocks (many multiples of each) - all of which use the standard AUG magazine. Yeah?

This would be of value to me as I happen to have an STG77 stock.

Answered in a new thread. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_124/273186_AUG_Mags_.html
From SPQR-476:
We're working through military validation testing with the primary customer right now, and they will likely soak up a good bit of early production.
We are planning on late spring for US commercial availability.
