I'm sure this question has been asked a ton already (as I can see at the top of this page). But I was wondering did anybody go any lower for rings running this optic? Was not sure if there were any pics of this setup. Seems to be a very popular combo. Thanks fellas View Quote |

Took my 308 out today and between 3 of us we put another 60 rounds of 1980s surplus thru it. We were shooting at steel swingers at about 75 yards. Bullet impacts were touching.
90 degrees with a cross wind. Hoikdi g to the left 2" My buddy's loved shooting it. |

Ok so i pulled my extremely tactacol walmart fish scale out to measure the pull weight of my trigger.
It breaks at less than a pound. |

Picked up a GoPro Friday, been playing with it all weekend.
Short clip of my rpr 6.5 and saker 762. Figured post 5000 should be something neat. |

They had another batch a couple of weeks before that. Vendor-wise, that's about the lowest I've seen them. Is there a guide on how to set up the stock so it is perfect for me?
This is my first experience with a rifle of this calibre and precision. I have never been fitted for a gun before. How do I fit the gun the me? Is there any tips or techiques? Also what is the recommended bullet weight / grain to break in the gun? . |

View Quote Here's a short rundown on some of the things to look for with fitment. http://www.longrangehunting.com/articles/fitting-long-range-rifle-2.php As far as ammo, just shoot FMJ ball ammo for break in. Ball ammo isn't inherently super accurate, so don't stress about not printing quarter-size groups, just get a good feel for where the approximate zero is. |

At some point, I hope to actually get mine to the range...;)
Just ordered 5x boxes of FGMM 168s through Palmetto State, they had them on sale for $15.99/box....I haven't seen it that cheap in a long time. Too bad they didn't drop the 175s that cheap, I would have likely ordered a case. I have 3x .308s that I haven't even shot yet, so the FGMM should give me a good idea of what they are capable of before I start working up loads. |

Stuff I learned from A-Team: 1)Always pity da fool 2)Carry wire cutters (you may need to defuse a bomb or start a car) 3)Never trust a crazy fool 4)Carry grenade launcher/machine guns in the van 5)Know how to weld 6)Love It When A Plan Comes Together
