I'd like to buy a double-rifle case to haul my three gun gear (hauling three cases around is ridiculous!), and I'd love to cut up the foam like you have, but I have no idea how. Can you throw us some pointers? Thanks! |

The Troy's aren't meant for use with a front sight base. I just noticed my M&P still has mud on it from the last match |

The Midwest Industries website indicates their SS free-float tubes require "minor gunsmithing for installation"; what exactly did that entail for you? |

You just replace the existing barrel nut with theirs, torque it down, and then screw the tube onto the barrel nut. I was building an upper from scratch anyway so it was no extra work.

So why are you here then? Why do you continue to take orders while your superiors betray you? Don't know? Well then I'll tell you...

I've been looking into one after my 1st 3-gun this weekend. I shot it for the first time at my last 3gun, check the "summit point 3gun" post I made a few days ago, it's near the top of the threads still. It ran great, it's super easy to reload, and very smooth on the action. I did have two FTEs though, that was due to jacked up shells though, just a sucky factory box that were crimped too tight and some of the metal was actually peeled back so it caught on the ejector. I spent 40 bucks too to get the +4 nordic extension to give it 8+1 for heavy metal. Some say the stock is loose, at least on the nova, the supernova is not rattly at all, something that can't be said for many pumps. The stock also handles recoil real nicely, I was impressed that I wasn't getting my shoulder kicked off using 6shot heavy field loads that day. It also breaks down in about a minute and is easy to clean For the price and awesomeness of it, GO FOR IT |

Yes, it us the new Carbon Arms tube that attaches to a JP nut. It is much lighter than the JP tube.

I have the Carbon Arms 15.5" tube for the JP nut. It is much lighter than the JP Vtac 12.5" tube that was on it.
I love the SS 1-4 w/ donut reticle. It replaced my TR24 G. Much better for me for shots greater than 250 yds. |

I see a lot of people using heavy profile barrels on their competition rifles. I thought light and fast rifles were generally considered superior since transitioning from target to target is easier? Does anyone have input?
