[ARCHIVED THREAD] - UV-5RA work with Aux cable

SO I have a pair of MSA Sordin electronic hearing pro, and an aux cable to use my little midway FRS radios, but the cable doesn't work with the UV-5RA, it fits fine, just can't hear anything. Is there a fix? is there a different cable I have to buy? jeeze, seems like something that could be very simple, but apparently some engineers got ahold of it.
