VETOTHEGOV... man that's a blast from the past. Tens of thousands of signatures on the petition and STILL not enough to get it on the ballot.
Now that congressional districts have been reapportioned, the DemocRATs pretty much have a lock on power for the next ten years or so. I think our best bet would be to work at the grass roots level to elect pro-gun county sheriffs. There are numerous counties where you can get a CCW and the state has no say in the matter. It's left up to the sheriff's discretion.
"Red" Davis' political career is done. Stick a fork in him. He doesn't have a whole lot of support from within his own party, much less from the other side of the aisle. Now if the Republicans could put up a viable candidate, I'd work my ass off to get him elected. Third party would be preferable, but that's out of the question and a waste of time.
