Fucking gross, dude...mushrooms? Bleagh.
Other than the fungus, 8.5/10. Would be 7.5, but you get an extra point for whole baked rodent. Don't see that every day. |
I grew up in South Louisiana. I have never seen much less HEARD of ANYONE eating a fucking nutria.
Might as well cook up some rats as well. 0/10 for the disgust. |
I ain't never seen a squirrel that looks like that.
ETA: For one thing, we always cut off the tail and the head. And to make the rice and gravy tastier we always add some pure pork sausage. ETA 2: That reminds me when I was young and dumb, working my way through college, me and a couple friends killed an armadillo, skinned it, cooked it and ate it. Made a real nice looking gravy, but the meat was tough as nails and drier than an overcooked chicken breast. LC |

How did you "get" the Nutria?
Rifle? Shotgun? Pellet Gun? Trap? Your score depends on your answer. But................. "looks good" "I would eat it" "It will make a turd" |
According to Wiki, their meat is very lean and low in cholesterol.
That doesn't mean I want to eat it, or see it. I'll refrain from rating this one. |

For those that wonder what they taste like...I'll put it to ya this way, it's better than rabbit! |

Quoted:
I'd eat it, but those teeth make me want to puke. This. Was it smoking a cigarette when you shot it? |

Seriously, 10/10 for manliness. I'd eat it. I've had squirrel and rabbit.

I've had nutria gumbo and fried nutria before - it's not bad.
10/10 for the dinner pic. |

We use to eat stuff like that when I was a kid, then my Dad got a job and we ate real people food.
I googled nutria after seeing the pics but before reading further down. Then the rest of the posts made sense. That looks fucking gross.
Still, 10/10. |
10/10 for kill n grill but it looks basically like swimming rat.
I would totally eat that.
10/10 We ate a beaver a couple of months ago at deer camp––-very similar to pot roast... |
