I was going to put together an ar15.com calendar last year but my real life took me by suprise.

LaRue had one posted on 07/04/08 with the American Flag and a Bad Ass EBR.
I had it for a while til' windows failed  . That was the BEST photo I had EVER seen on this forum!
Pretty much anything LaRue or StickMan posts in the photo pages |

If I remember correctly, that pic was taken on one of the Solomon Islands - Bougainville, maybe? Looking at it, I have a question. The art on that tank - if you notice, it is painted on a steel plate welded onto the armor. There is a Sherman at our local VFW hall that has the same plate welded at the same location. Is this "up armor" or was this done only after the tank had been hit by enemy fire? LC |

They are real. You can see the black and white photo in the updated Collectors Grade book "Death from Above, The German FG 42 Paratrooper Rifle" They are not mine, but I have been lucky enough to see and finger these in person. |
