Since tossing your AR down the driveway to give it that "lived in" look is old-school and I'm always looking to the future (because of all the Hope these days and stuff), I figured I'd throw my rifle over my house to make it look tough.
The problem is that my throwing arm isn't as good as it used to be when I was younger and the thing didn't quite clear the roof. I think it may have hit the chimney on it's way over, and now it's stuck up there. The thing is, I don't own a ladder. Does anybody in the Washington area have a ladder that I could borrow to get up there and get the thing back? I should only need it for a few minutes. |

This thread is worthless with out pics of your AR on the roof.

What? I know you really didn't do this but I am having a hard time figuring out where you came up with this...
Help me understand, won't you? |

Simpletons...
when are you going to figure it out? Tying your AR to the rear bumper of your car and driving it at 100 mph down the highway is the only way to put a nice used look patina on your rifles! |

oh man
I had the same thing happen with a frisbee this summer Here's waht you do. Take everything else you have on your person and throw it up there to try and knock it down. Once both of your shoes, car keys, wallet, and phone are on the roof. Throw pine cones up there to knock it loose. Once you've run out of pine cones go to the garage and see what sort of stuff you can find to throw. Report back after all of the stuff you found in the garage is on the roof for further instructions. |

Wait about a month and maybe Santa will be kind enough to bring it in for you.

You're going to regret posting this. You'd have been better off buying a ladder. |

This thread is worthless with out pics of your AR on the roof. My neighbor has a tree from which I should be able to see it. When he goes to work I'll climb up there and see if I can get a pic. |

This thread has the potential for both greatness and abasement. I await the conclusions of this superb endeavour with interest.

Dude. Maybe you should seriously consider leaving it there until I can safely remove it for you.

I call:
You are a guy and don't own a ladder??????? Major fail!!!!!!!! |

If this is what is considered an "In"-worthy thread these days, then this site has about hit bottom.

If your luck is like mine, while retrieving your AR, a passing Police chopper will observe a man on the roof with a rifle.
Film at 11 ....... |

In before the OP goes out in a gay porn posting blaze of glory.
