I prefer everybody DRIVE there, and at a prearranged time (say 4:00 pm), stop your cars in the middle of the road, get out your grills and start cooking. A million more cars suddenly stopped in the middle of the roads would cause massive gridlock. DC would shut down. What are they gonna do... arrest a million people over a peaceful protest? Where would they put everybody? When the news crews show up, our appointed spokesperson tells them "Stop pissing us off. Or NEXT time we'll be armed."
That would seriously put the fear of God into DC. Leave the rifles in your cars or at home. They won't be needed on the first trip. |

I think something like an anti-communism rally would be more effective.
It would be even better if someone would come up with a new term that covers all kinds of stuff: the slide toward socialism, taking away of constitutional rights (whatever they may be), etc..etc.. Guns and self-protection and determination would just be a part of it. Why do I think this? Because guns aren't just about guns (everyone here on ARFCOM knows this), but, unfortunately, lots of the Amercan population needs to be re-informed about basic ideals of freedom a la the Founding Fathers that are being seriously eroded. A march like this would be much harder to discount as just a bunch of gun nuts. |

No guns, at least not at the first one. 3. No march unless they actually get one of these bills out of committee. I think a spent, deprimed casing would be good, as long as it is accompanied by a well worded non threatening letter. |

Hey, it's our turn to protest. We need to get organized now so we can protest later. You don't need to take anything to DC other than protest signs. A LOT of protest signs. A million rifle DC march would be our overt operation. But there is another kind of op we can do as well.
We need to give ObiteMe 90 days and if the troops aren't home and we don't have full employment and free health care, we start protesting. Leave the GOP signs home. Look like a disenfranchised liberal. "I voted for change but Obama must have lied" kind of stuff. Wear a tie-dyed t-shirt and beads with a peace sign. Spread some "save the whales" and "Free Tibet" signs in amongst your group. It won't take much to make the sheeple begin to doubt their choice. |

What about Airsoft. They don't look to silly now do they.. I can see a shipping container of dpms airsoft guns being handed out.
On a serious note.. I know the repercussions of said march. BUT why can't we, other than a gun free zone.. We could millionriflemarch in a pro gun environment.. Lets say the golden meadows of Kansas, or the prairies of Texas. Hell Mark Larue should be a spokesperson. Larue wanted a billboard, well here is his sign to lead and make a great statement. Although this could not be done in DC, MSM would still cover it. Logistically it could be done. eta: so coincidental I just got a email from Team Larue. |
