3) make a note of all the 33% of Americans who voted for Obama out of misplaced feelings that he was "really a moderate" or "really pro-life" or "really peaceful" or "really brilliant when it comes to judgment and foreign policy/economics/social issues of post-partisanship blah blah blah. SAVE their bleatings about how wonderful he is now, in 2008 to ram it down their throats in 2010 when he proves to be anything BUT moderate, post-partisan, etc.
4) Begin pointing out immediately how the Democrats claim to be for the poor but don't actually help them escape poverty. How wonderful is a 'tax cut' for the middle class in 2008 or 2009 if unemployment goes from 6.1 to 9.3%!

5) This is going to require a much better organized ground game from the GOP in 2010 and 2012... so take note of ALL local DNC measures, initiatives, organizations, "corps" etc. and organize to place intel sources in them or acquire a good vantage point to see what their plans are so we can begin to rebuild block by block, street by street coalitions to stymie, or shadow their socialist plans every step of the way: PTAs, HOAs, town hall meetings, zoning committees, you name it, be there. Make civic participation your new hobby besides going to the range...

6) Network. Conservatives need to do a much better job at networking state-wide and nation-wide. Coordinate our efforts from place to place. One way to bankroll this is to get in on the ACORN business model - no reason why conservatives can't compete for the federal dollars...but we'll need lawyers to fight to win a place at the trough. Money is there to be had, so take it and use it to organize with fellow conservatives locally, regionally, state wide, etc.

7) Opposition research: start acquiring intel RIGHT NOW on OBAMA OR DNC operatives...especially in these heady days of euphoria when their guard is down. They'll be in compromised situations with people or things. Get the photos or details on them now...to use to effect in 2010....

8) The fairness doctrine might shut down talk radio.... begin to blog...

10) Help make Bobby Jindal's efforts a success. Volunteer to help LA get ahead, individually, as a business, with your church, with clubs or associations... and use the experience of helping a future leader to network with others from across the country.

11) Liberals might get all they wanted - and think Utopia is just a day away...reality will set in sooner than later. Be ready to commiserate with them, and obliquely suggest that perhaps Obama isn't so bright after all, or hasn't picked smart enough people for advice (a back handed way of saying HE isn't too bright).... complain about the rise in abortion, crime, unemployment, etc. and express amazement that it's just not getting better despite all the "brilliant people" now running EVERYTHING. Cognitive dissonance will take time to settle in, but if we start now, by 2010 alot of the 33% of Americans who don't pay much attention will be unsettled by the "excesses" of the 'radical fringe, meanspirited, hypocrites that give socialists a bad name"...

It might help to start calling "moderate socialism" ideas that are really conservative and let the listener figure it out. Seems to have worked for Obama: calling socialist ideas "moderate" put the wool over enough folks eyes...

12) Keep your day job. Pay off debts as fast as you can, stay healthy, (mind, body, soul), and build up a food pantry and hobby locker... new AWB will come and zoning laws restricting gun stores, ranges, etc. ammo taxes and firearm type bans... it'll all happen before 2010 so if you want something, get it in the next 3 months.

Not for civil war - but for the not entirely impossible chance that Obama so totally botches the war on terror that we get hit by a major power....or bird flu or some other disaster. You can bet that the top priority in any Obama FEMA operation will be ideological purity: Planned Parenthood operatives handing out condoms instead of water, GBLT operatives making sure disaster victims have the proper amount of 'sex worker' rights being respected in the tent cities, etc. the MSM will declare every FEMA operation an instant success before it's begun... all of which means we'll be on our own.

13) Consider re-call elections whenever local, state or national politicians botch something big time before the mid-terms. Start looking for candidates to jump at a moment's notice to seize seats.

14) Apart from our jobs, most Americans feel they have their homes to lose in bad times...so consider renting, leasing or moving in with relatives or friends for a few years to save cash, help pool resources... in the coming fiscal disaster (unavoidable regardless of who wins the whitehouse), those who don't have debt and aren't isolated individuals are going to be better off than those who are one pay check away from foreclosure and the inevitable need to go on the government dole...becoming an indentured servant to the new Socialist overlords.

15) Don't get angry. Get smart. Don't be violent, be virtuous. It's going to take great discipline to turn this around. But it'll happen - if at all - only politically. The only scenario I can imagine us ever needing our guns is a scenario that the DNC will almost for sure not stumble into as they've figured out that the revolution that wins is the revolution of laws (lawmakers, lawyers and judges) that seizes the nodes of power WITHOUT bloodshed. I highly doubt there will be any widespread armed repression. There WILL be a few scape-goats and show trials to prep the way for draconian restrictions...but nothing widespread... it's the height of insanity to throw away the social compact we need to preserve for a come back in 2012 for the sake of redressing some wrongs in 2009. Who ever starts shooting first will lose. remember that.

Don't train with the militia buddies. Go paintballing. Hunt or fish. etc. The tactics and strategy we'll need is intel, networking, comms....politics not small unit infantry tactics. If they start shooting there will more than enough veterans or active duty real soldiers to put down those who started it. We just need to worry about the political, social, civil, person to person persuasion game.

16) Media. Learn to blog and blog....do the Media's job for them and do it better. Get the scoop on them...we'll need a much better PR wing if we hope to win in 2010.
