It does happen. I've left the IFB open before and had some pretty raw language go straight into the talent's ear. Made for interesting broadcasts.

so what? first responders laugh at this stuff all the time. This guy did it on air; lots of people die, gallows humor is a way people deal with it.

Its different for a first responder or a family member.....not a news anchor sitting comfortably in a television studio.

He is located in Roanoke VA. I have stopped watching both local news shows due to a lack of time and complete disgust at the quality of the reporting. I find this guy and his crew to be more watchable than the cut and dry competition. Either way, they both suck.
