Has anyone used bulled military ammunition components from such places as Wideners?  I have used .30 carbine brass and bullets with great success.

I have recently ordered some powder from pulled 5.56 NATO ammo.  I was just currious if anyone has used the powder and if they were satisfied?  It ended up being under $7.00 a pound for the equivalent of H335, which runs $15+ a pound.  This was from US ammo in the 80's, so I was told.

Thanks,

fuatos

I have bought pulled bullets from Wideners, and both pulldown and new surplus powder from Jeff Bartlett. All I've tried works as advertised, and you cannot beat the price.

BTW, it might be a good idea to stock up now, as there may be a run on components and the military may have a use for much of the ammo now in storage, if you know what I mean.

A neighbor tried out some max load WC846 in 5.56 with pulled ss109's and he said they worked just fine.
