Would like to put the closest to true CAR15 type stock on my Colt Light Weight. What should I look for? Where should I look? Thanks for your help.

Get a Colt 4 position M4 collapsable. They're available for about $130 at YTM, www.blackrifle.com.
Now, not only do you feel good about having a genuine Colt stock on your rifle, but you also bought from a company with a great website name!

If ya can't handle $130, here's one that is identical (except a couple of small markings) for half price. Look around, and you will see that this looks exactly like the Colt.
$65 shipped.
