Pinole (my version anyway):
Masa raisins a little powdered milk sometimes and Clendenen's Apple Cider (pressed every Thursday and NEVER pasteurized!) I have to say, though, I loved those candy cereals when I was a kid. Hey! Wait a minute! I AM still a kid! |
|
The one I could eat every day: Raisin nut bran. As long as there are enough raisins in it.
The one I could eat a trough-sized bowl of when I was in high school: Cap'n Crunch |
|
hmm, maybe rasin bran. but really anything have. my only thing is I don't like the chocolate ones that so many of you seem to love.

Right now it's Red River Cereal, from Canada- some Canuck friends gave me a big box of it at a reenactment I went to at Ft George, Ontario a few weeks back- it's great- fills you up fast, nutritious, very high in fiber, yet tastes great.
One bowl and I'm rarin' to go- in more ways than one :^) http://www.redrivercereal.com |

General Mills still makes tons of Count Chocula. I used to work in a warehouse that distributed it. We would get to take some home once in a while. You would have to see this place to believe it, over a hundred thousand pallets of Cereal were stored there.

I gotta eat my Raisin Bran.
Torf 100,000 pallets of cereal!!! How do you eat cereal???? I would be sick of that crap fast |
|
Raisin bran. Eat'em fast after pouring the milk on so it doesn't get soggy. [:)]

LUCKY CHARMS!!! Marshmallow-rific. Fruit Loops makes a very close second.
Whoever said Frosted Mini-Wheats....yeah, buddy. That's my current "daily." You know what's mind-boggling? The price of cereal. Think about it...you are getting 12-20 oz. of product for $3-5 dollars. That's as expensive as steak! No, not hamburger...STEAK. Sheesh. |

The facility not only held cereal, but also: Bisquick (any size), Hamburger Helper, Gold Medal Flour, Assorted Fruit snacks (i.e. Fruit by the Foot, Gushers), Betty Crocker Cake mixes, Betty Crocker frosting, Squeezits, Bowl Appitit!, Suddenly Salad, Chex Mix, Gardettos, and many more. I just wish they had a meat and dairy section! [:P] |

View Quote Thats why I would take as much as they would allow us, cereal and all. It really put a dent in the grocery budget for those years. We would easily get $40-$50 dollars of food (retail) every so often. |

Super Colin Blow...just be seated before consumption.
When I went home last week I had a bowl of what should have been Raisin nut crunch which I like. I pour a bowl and add milk without really lookng at the cerial. I took a bite and realized I basically had a mouthfull of raisins and milk. My liitle brother who likes the cerial but not the raisins put all the raisins from his bowls of cerial back in the box! Needless to say it took me awhile to finish my bowl of "cerial", felt like I was chewing forever. I was REAL regular for the next couple of days!. No seriously, Honey Colmes (sp?)is my fave, I eat it dry as a snack. 1GunRunner is "Nuttin Bitch" a skit off in living color? Chris Rock did a skit for them for a cerial, the cerial had the word nigger in it. I found it on McUzi.com, funny as hell. BrenLover |
