For anyone that actually gives a ratz ass, I leave for surgery in about 10 minutes. Hopefully they can fix my kidney once and for all...
My wife or I will be in touch with Grin&Barrett immediately after they fillet me, so hopefully he'll post the updates here. FWIW: I'm scared as hell this time, since anything could happen -- I was calm until last night, but it all changed! |

[red]Good luck to you,TIM!
I hope you recover from this procedure quickly and without much pain.[/red] |

Good luck with the surgery, Im sure everything will come out fine. Its pretty normal for people to get kind of anxious immediately before the surgery.
Just make sure you don't come out with a penis on your arm! Michael |

Good luck - I'm praying for you. I (unfortunately) know exactly what you're going through - had some very severe kidney problems this year myself. I'm sure you'll be ok.

All is well. Operation went well. Repaired the kidney & didn't have to remove. Did it all by scope so just a small scar.
Now if they can just issue some earplugs to the staff. |

Great to hear, we all did our morning moment of thought (the thing we do at our family meal table), while the pitcher of peace was passed, we each gave thought to Tim.
Glad it went well. Now here is to the recovery. |
|
Now can we start raggin' on him again... or is there a grace period for such things. [:D]
Glad to hear you're ok! [beer] |

1GUNRUNNER: The pitcher of peace contains water.
Each person pours from the pitcher for the person on their right, during the time of pouring, ones thoughts are directed towards something that needs attention. I hesitate to call it prayer, because it isn't, but it is more of a focusing on family and deeds that need doing. It was a custom given to us by my Uncle, the original guy who grokked it. |
|
Glad to hear all went well Tim. Speedy recovery and good health to you.

See, I told you Prayers Do Work [;)]
Heres to your recovery [beer] |
