(Lewis County Regulars) - disparaging name for Lewis County, Wa shooting enthusiasts (courtesy of the local newspaper).
The name was gleefully adapted for use during The Western Washington Arfcommers Shoot in Doty, Wa. This weekend, it was about sixty Arfcommers (from as far away as Texas), 30 cases of Tannerite and twice as much ammo as the last one. The Big Kahuna Bomb was 100 bottles of Tannerite in a five gallon water jug and a satisfying 200 ft mushroom cloud. The 13 y/o who got to set it off celebrated by allowing his hair to be cut short.  Because of Washington State's restrictive gun laws, bumpfiring and pistol versions of AKs, FALs and ARs were the order of the day. An FAL pistol... You gotta see one. A big thanks to 1Gunrunner (who created LCR) and Odt for hosting the event and the Fajitas. It pretty much runs itself.

He's close, it actually came from a friend of mine. He is a retired Boeing machinest that moved from Seattle area to the rural county where I live in with plans of starting a gunsmithing biz. He was dissapointed with all the crap guns brought to him and really wanted a higher class of customer instead of all these LCR's. The name was then addopted by Stokes when he used to help out in my gunshop, he said dealing with LCR's all day was very tiresome. LCR is more of a state of mind rather than a tanigible thing.

A 13 y/o with a borrowed M-1 Garand. He was really nervous, but came through in the end and when the Tannerite went off, well.....it was an experience!! All senses were totally involved!! You saw..you heard..YOU FELT!!!!! The FAL pistol at night......Oh my........ |

It will work it just needs some braking in.
 ETA: I have only put about 4 or 5 boxes of ammo through it, and it was getting better the more I shot it. Another 2 or 300 she will probably run good. |
