Now if I were the President, I would Eminent Domain a piece of land along the water front for the USS Iowa. The Commies would go apeshit.
That's fucked up. Kali is seriously CTD. At least socal, that is. Can't honor the ship's involvement in WWII because of the current war? That's fucked up.
They should just move it to SD over by Seaport Village. At least some folk in SD have some fucking respect (minus the illegals - we owe them everything last i checked).
HA! that's too funny...Feinswine screwed by her own liberal people
this is a state crying for tourist and they pull this shit? this is a protest of the war well maybe they don't need other government help to protest the war today. sorry when this country is at war i support for better or worse it's are people fighting it. not like some of these damn un peace keeping missions were they don't do squat and get people rich by stealing supplies were there do the most good.
sorry i getting of my soap box. |
These people are no longer Americans. They are some communist/moron hybrid that would have fit in perfectly with the NKVD.
Bring her back to Newport, RI!!!!! I miss taking the drive out there just to look at her.
The article failed to mention that there is also a bloody Aircraft Carrier there too. USS Hornet (CV-12). Shit, some group is trying to get the USS Ranger as a museum here in Portland. I don't think it will happen.
Suck on it, beotch! You reap what you sow motherfucker. |
This is a fucking disgrace. If I were there I wouldn't be able to help myself from what I might do to some weasely, sniveling "protester".
Hell, we'll take it and park it right next to the U.S.S. New Jersey in Camden.
Oh well thay would stand up for Gays, but not for a Warship that gave them that freedom
FREE |
The irony is killing me LOL Bomber |
We'll take it!
We can sail it up the Colorado, scare the piss out of the Mexicans, then park it in Lake Havasu right next to that funny bridge. |
Hey, it offends the Liberals and fags somehow, what did you expect?
ETA:
No, this is the exact same San Francisco you learned to love - they have a measure on the Nov ballot to make SF like DC in regards to handguns - "turn 'em in." |
Load the guns and open fire. When finished, sail to L.A. and do the same
BRILLIANT! |
I wish. |
It has evil 'Assault Weapons' Feature, so it's understandable in the land of the FAB-10!
Magazine limit 10 rounds… and how many does the IOWA's magazines hold? ANdy |
Good. The Iowa deserves a far better place to rest than the Gay Area.
LOL i think DIFI is pissed off at what stupid libs they are. that is funny
Yeah, and she helped create that liberal climate by pushing that agenda! Democrats starting to eat their own. There should be a reality show about it. |
Yup, talk about egg on her face-heh heh. |
Yup, hoisted by her own petard.... |
Bring her back to her birthplace in NY and berth her next to Intrepid. San Francisco does not deserve that Great Lady!
Charleston S.C. will take her. The USS Yorktown could use a friend!
The Hornet is in Alameda, not San Francisco. |
Nothing but fucking, ungrateful idiots live in that fucking San Fagcisco.
I am glad that the Iowa is not going to be docked there.
This great warship deserves a place of honor ,and should be turned into a floating museum for the generations to come. It would be a dishonor for her to be docked in San FagSickos . Admittadly ,I advocate the idea of putting the Iowa,New Jersey, and Wisconsin back into active service. We have hundreds of thousands of 16 inch shells that could be used to cheaply and effectively encourage more peaceful times in the Middle East . Remember ,they need seaports to ship oil here . I believe the Missouri should be kept as a memorial because of her historical signifigance. (Japs signed surrender on the Missouri ) |

So where are the other states going to find the people to stand up and fight the war in Iraq at the level California does? Last time I looked California still leads the (dis-)United States in miitary recruiting and sadly also in deaths in the Iraq/Afghanistan war. How's that for honor, courage, and commitment - real blood and guts and actually sacrific not a hollow empty warships sitting on a waterfront selling tours for $8 a person?
Keyboard commandos unite to hate America! Outside of New York City, the San Francisco bay area is probably the most liberal area in the nation. They don't really need another tourist attraction and to be honest niether does San Diego (USS Midway). Los Angles possibly but there is a shortage of docking space and the battleship would need 800 feet worth of it and that's going to be hugely expensive in the busiest port in America and the third most busy on the planet. The Queen Mary and the Skorpian (Soviet Sub) are a pretty popular attraction but they don't do that much business. I just sad that it was my tax dollars that were used for the purchase of the ship. I do feel better knowing that emimant domain can now be used to take whatever part of the water front was needed to house the ship. I would have rather seen it put into Alameda any ways but the 70 year old citizens that own that island would object to the traffic the attraction would cause. I'm surprised that the USS Hornet was allowed there. So it looks like only Los Angeles (really it would be Long Beach) hasn't bought a warship. |

Along with a whole "Moth Ball" fleet residing in the bay.............. Sgatr15 |

You shouldn't be. Re-read Paul's post. ANd while the S.F. Bay area may be screwed up you really shouldn't lump us all together, it makes you look foolish and uninformed. Sgat1r5 |
