In the song "Fuck Me" by KMFDM/Pig, the singer says "The love of my life is a switchblade knife and a gun becomes my lawful wife." He also mentions staring down the barrel of a .45, but this song is from way before that stupid Shinedown song, and its also much better.
The Metallica songs "One" and "For Whom the Bell Tolls" mention weapons. And in the Misfits song "Astro Zombies" they say "Grab a Colt .45 and pump some lead." |

That song has some clever lyrics. Definitely a fave. Too bad I got berated by a co-worker when I mentioned it the other day. She said it was about drugs. Lennon actually thought of the song after reading a magazine article with that title, if I recall correctly.
