Hey, SA, you have to think bigger!  How about an additional $10 - 20 per year on the membership fees, & then buy a library of titles.  When they aren't in use, they go back to a central library.  I bet that you could buy the titles cheap if you bought enough of them or set up a blanket purchase to buy a certain number in a specific time.  The library could be kept by Sgtar15 because he has so much time on his hands that he plays with dolls... er, um, I mean "action figures."

Seriously though, since it would be a PITA to administer, I bet that an out side service could be hired to send out the DVDs for an inexpensive fee.  All speculation, of course.

Hell, I've got seven bucks! I'm in!!!

I also have BoB (purchased NEW on ebay a year ago) but two of the discs look like the Dinks at the warehouse dropped them and walked on them. The two won't play in my player.

Brass- I may have to get the two discs that I can't watch from you, just so I can see what I've missed out on.

I have a pretty good sized library of tapes and DVD's. Maybe we could have an exchange forum....

Folks could "loaner swap" with each other.

I'm leaning towards this one.

store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=70870&browseCategoryId=&location=&parentcatid=&subcatid=

Didn't you feel the introduction paragraph about the M-16 DVD went a little over the top?

"The M-16 is the most powerful assault rifle ever used in combat. But its significance goes beyond its unrivalled force. And its overwhelming efficiency as a killing machine has put it firmly in the spotlight of the ongoing debate over gun control."

How's your truck doing?

Leaking coolant water like a submarine with a screen door! I stopped wasting money on antifreeze. It just runs straight out. I just put a new ALT and battery in it. And new brakes all around a couple of months ago. Man, it's time to get out of this money pit!!!!! It's killing my "toy" fund.

Thanks for asking! How's life treating you???

1 more needed and we are a go.

And if you guys want to do a DVD exchange that is also a good idea but could you please start another thread so this one doesn't get confusing.

Brass seems like the guy to get that project going.

Sorry, I was just making a suggestion. I wasn't planning on starting it up in this thread, just floating the idea. Hell, I can't even organize my thoughts... much less a loaner library or exchange thread.

Please send me your Paypal info and I'll get the 7.00 plus 3% sent out to you.

Success.

OK, I'll IM the 9 particpating people on where to send $7.00 and I'll request shipping info from the person who is gonna get the DVDs first. They will ship in order of participation.

When the DVD gets to Longtrail he will have it for a week and then it goes to teh next person to request it

First question is do we want to limit the first 20 people to get it for "free" to team members only?

You guys (the 9 people putting up $7.00) decide and your decision is fine with me.

Edit your post to say either "first 20 requests for team members only" or "first 20 requests for all members."

I haven't received an IM. Am I still in??? Try emailing the info to me. Thanks!

Thanks Longtrail!!!!!! And everyone else who is involved! I just watched the HoG AK-47 episode yesterday on the H-channel.

EDITED TO ADD: First 20 team members only. Nothing personal against the members... It just goes to show how "Team Membership" has its privaledges... now go sign up for Team membership!

I mailed my check Saturday.  The same day I got the IM.  I'm in AL, so it shouldn't take too long to get there.

Just my opinion...I think we should move this to the Team Member's forum for any future trades.

I read that the North Korean leader Kim Jung Il has over 50,000 movies in his collection.
I didn't even know there were 50,000 movies made in the world.
