The seven dwarves have recently begun to walk on their own and they are exploring their world, so I decided to introduce them to one of my AKs. They are now Kalashni-kitties.

Umm, about 3 weeks old or so. We have a barn cat that sorta came with the property when we bought it, and refused to leave. She's been knocked up before but a fox got to her litter before we could. This time we let her inside and kept her in an upstairs bathroom until the big event. She had seven and they all lived. We'll probably keep the one in the last photo and Morgan will give the rest away to good kids at her school. Anyway, I don't shoot cats, unless they are Democrat cats or otherwise communists. These are all freedom-loving, brave kalashnikitties ready to take on the world (as soon as they finish sucking mom dry)!

Oh yeah. We're not going to tempt fate by trying to give away probably 6 cats more than once! We'd run out of families to take them real quick! Both our dogs are fixed and after Oreo the Sturmkittles has had her turn at being mom, its off to the vet for her too. Here's an old pic of momma:

Its a Chinese AK in 7.62. I recently refinished the furniture myself. The mag is a 40 rounder I picked up for $15 at a local funstore. Also took this pic of it tonight:

It soon grows up to be a cat!" ...forgot who wrote it... Of course they're cute. ALL baby animals are cute, except maybe for some kinds of birds. This is nature's way. Mother nature knows that if the babies aren't cute enough, the parents might decide they're more trouble than they're worth and walk off and leave them, or worse, thereby dooming the race! This is especially true of humans. Foul smelling, drooling at both ends, dispensing used food from both ends constantly, (just at different levels of usage), noisy, slow to learn, even slower to grow up...it's a wonder we even exist! I'm not a cat person, really, but I'll pet anything that will hold still long enough. Great bunch of kittens you have there. I admit, I'd be tempted to keep the whole batch! I'm sorry that my dog was spayed. I think she'd have been a great mother, and the idea of having little black and tan Aussie pups running around that'd grow up to be like her definitely has its appeal! CJ |
