I'm curious about the LIBERAL runoff from Kalifornia, spilling onto the fertile plain of Arizona.
Living in the periphery of LIBERAL Chicago, the outlying areas were once considered fertile lands, to plant new seeds, and escape left-wing LIBERAL Chicago. Now it all just seems the same, what with the unwashed masses from LIBERAL Chicago that have followed, and have now changed the landscape to a left slant. The outlying areas today; the far-reaches tomorrow!
Do the good CONSERVATIVE people of Arizona have this flight to fear in their minds from any LIBERAL Kalifornia hordes, or is this all "under-control".?
Was just curious, as I've always considered  CONSERVATIVE Arizona as the last "bastion" of the "wild-west". A good place for LIBERAL Kalifornia Kookiness to wither and soon die.

We are planning to escape CA to AZ. I was willing to stay and fight the good fight but the liberals are outnumbering... RETREAT!!!!

I would rather move to a state that will appreciate hard working American Conservatives.

Where do I sound like I'm from Chicago? Never lived there in my whole life!

Visit the AZ Hometown Forum and ask that question.  You'll get a resounding "YES!" that the nutbags from this state ARE spilling into AZ and starting to fuck things up.  So far the "good guys" are holding the line but whenever you start to get high population densities, you start getting "liberal creep".

I wonder.  Has anyone ever done any studies to determine what the tipping point is?  Based on the "Red/Blue" map there has to be a figure based on people per square mile that tilts the scale one way or another.

I'm sure that's the case. I was very curious about AZ, as it is about as diverse from Kalifornia politics as could be, and  right next door.

The spill over is coming from every where. It won't stop. We must build a canyon around the whole state.

I see license plates from all over. Mainly from Kali, Illionios, and Texas.  Snow bird season is upon us. So we get a large population growth around this time of year. We are already having a large amount of Floridian's coming in, due to the hurricanes.

As for the liberal. Yes they are coming. Alot go back after one hot summer though. Then again alot are rich and have a house in Kali and Arizona.

I'm a A/C tech and was at a ladies house that was closing on her house. Was doing home inspection repairs. I asked her where she was moving to. She said Kali. I told her, I hoped she was liberal. She said, I'm very liberal. I then said good. Another ones leaving.

After I divorced I move to Kali in 1990. I moved to Arizona in 1996.  I do see a trend of Kali coming here.

Example, while I was in Kali there was a smoking ban put in place in Davis, KA. One year later it went to a state wide smoking ban. Years after I left Kali, the AWB went into effect.

About two years ago the town of Tempe, Az. placed a smoking ban. They (liberals) are now trying to push for a state smoking ban. It hasn't passed yet. And I hope I'm not seeing a trend spill over.

Although on the good side. Arizona has better gun laws than Kali. I think it will be much harder for the liberals to change them.

I know I'll stay here and fight them.

They are not coming from California as much as Mexico.  Every state seems to have some Liberal strongholds just like every state has Conservative Strongholds.

I've been trying to put a plan together to get my fam out of here for years. Tough part is how to do it w/o ending up in Phoenix or anywhere near a major metro area (now includes Tucson?).  I partly grew up in Tucson and ever since I have always regretted the circumstances by which we had to leave for PRK. I remember distinctly when my teachers and counselors(and a 'few' friends) in the 11th grade asking me, "Why! would you[or rather your Dad] want to DO that?"

I have no doubt in my mind that Cali's social pollution is tearing at AZ's core. Just look how close it ties b/w Bush and Kerry. At times it seems it could go  Kerry(even if barely) and sadly I do see this as a possible reality not too far off.  Add to that AZ is also a border state where the Mexican invasion problem is worse (I said invasion b/c that IS what it is) which in turn means that guaranteed in a few short years more crowds, crime, real estate craziness and....surefire Democrat voters - in other words, Cali Jr.!!

Now Nevada, OTOH, is far worse off than AZ in my opinion.
Over the years I personally know of - and hear of - many more Californios emigrating to NV (Las Vegas area of course), flocking in droves. I've long since written off this state as a future liberal satellite of CA (such as OR & WA).  Sorry if I offended any good men still there in NV trying to hold the line out there, but I think you are well aware already of how much political sway Vegas holds throughout the state. Best of luck to you guys.
Any surprise? Vegas is not really Nevada anymore. As a voting block,  I would characterize it as a mixed bag of liberal career-seeking schmucks imported from the East and Left coasts. Add to that the legions of ignorant service workers (also imports) to work for the schmucks in charge. Hardcore Demo voters.

AZ is still worth fightin' for.

So far the number of fleeing conservatives from CA has equaled or exceeded the number of Liberals moving here.

There are not many reasons for a CA liberal to chose to move to AZ frankly.  We do not have a big welfare machine.  Most liberals know of our reputation and would turn the other way.  Tucson and Tempe are the only really big leftist enclaves in this state.

So glad to hear that. Hope it's true.
It would be a great thing if all(the good RKBA rights people in CA who are now 'wasting' their good votes in CA to relocate to AZ and NV to help secure the future of those two states. There must be so many of us (at least 40% of the electorate) that there might be enough to turn around OR and WA too.

Truth is I see CA's adjacent states (hopefully AZ is the holdout) falling before its mighty liberal power like dominoes - a very disturbing trend indeed.

If the socialists were smart, they should force(more free stuff giveaways) relocate 1/2 of LA to AZ, changing the state from red to blue.

Don't quite understand what you mean(?) Why would you want that?
Is it because so that CA conservative voters here would have a better chance at the majority to turn our own state red?

I formerly worked for a business connected with the real estate industry and I can tell you, firsthand, that Kommiefornians are FLOODING this state.

Shit, we even now have a liberal demoncrap dyke governor.

I LOVED this state when I first moved here 7 years ago but I'm a little worried now. I thought I'd escaped the insanity when I fled PRK.

ETA: I'm NOT a Californian. I'm originally from St. Louis.

Were you asleep during the last election.

Conservative canidates got 59% of the vote- only problem was that there were TWO of them.

Napolitano is a minority governor, and very unlikely to win reelection in two years unless the GOP fucks up and runs TWO people again.
