Rasmussen Reports After Debate Bush 49% Kerry 45% before Bush 48% Kerry 46%. This is a 2 point positive swing for Bush. I guess the "global test" comment is really taking its toll on kerry.

The latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows President George W. Bush with 49% of the vote and Senator John Kerry with 45%. John Kerry has not been ahead in the daily Tracking Poll since August 23.

Go figure. If the numbers do this after a weak showing by GW in a debate, I can only imagine the possibilities if he would've spanked Kerry. Maybe next time.

I can't imagine the wailing and nashing of teeth going on over this at DUh.

I'm sure they've long since had their tinfoil hat theories about how biased all the polls are to favor Bush...just like the media is biased in favor of the GOP!

Actually it's not the lowest he's been in a while. A week or two ago Kerry was leading quite a bit for a couple of days according to that website.

I don't think that the debate's results are accurately reflected in that poll this early either. And if you look, the only states updated since yesterday are AZ AR CT IA ME MI NV OH OR PA. And those are likely yesterday's results, before the debate.

I'd say wait a couple more days when every state has been updated since the debates and then you'll have a more accurate picture of how they effected the election.

I just hope that Bush carries my state so I can vote my conscience (Badnarik) and still root for the less-bad candidate.

*It should be mentioned that I do not agree with all LP stances, like Iraq or open borders.

Think about it if the media didn’t keep the race close with the pole BS ratings they wouldn’t get the advertising money. Why would anyone spend money till its needed there’s allot of hands trying to get their share of the monies that are being handed out by both parties and the matching monies of the government.
