I have more photos but I'm not sure certain people want their faces shown on the internet.  We were lucky enough to have at least one real operator there and I won't show his face unless he specifically says its ok.

Jeff:  "Hey Ken, if there was a .22 hidden in your cigar like in that old James Bond movie do you think it would go through my hand from here?"

Look out! Lawyer with a gun!

The only thing cooler than an 8mm 1919 is a cute little girl who confidently shoots 100-round bursts through that 1919.  Its for the children.

Thanks to the death of the AW ban I am now able to shout "Wolverines" as I shoot from the hip with my stock folded.

Wolverines!!

Thanks to CMMG for my new no-ban AR15 setup.  Now if there was only a configuration that would help hide my sagging man-boobs and bulging gut.  Yech...

Hey Erik, open your damn eyes, the camera flash didn't even go off this time!

New to Arfcom is Nick, center, the BlueNoteExpress (note the hat, very nice...)

This is about a fourth of the line of people waiting to shoot the Course of Fire at any one time.  We had the best turnout I can recall for a Missouri shoot, its amazing that we actually managed to run everyone through the COF.  And yeah, it was actually more muddy than this photo makes it appear to be.

Duke, lets see some more!!!

I must say that today was a total blast.  I wanted to thank Jeff for allowing me to shoot the M-249 and especially the Krinkov.  I am going to get one of those Krinks, period!  Thanks to CMMG for hosting this, and to everyone else for a warm welcome on my first appearance!

Inspite of the rain/mud... What an AWESOME day!

I will post more tonight.  Mud and rain did not stop a fun safe day of shooting.  Again thanks to CMMG.

More pics:

Miranthis, Beekeeper, Mousegun87, and Officer960 waiting to shoot the COF.

More folks in line to shoot the COF, including the enigmatic AeroE and the always-tactical ShamusMcOI.

Shang-Huai-Di engages hostiles with his STG58 while Metalman times and Ken stands by to paste lots of .308 holes.

I have to say that watching  Double 8's daughter shooting the 1919 had to be one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  I don't think he will have to worry about her quite as much as the average father when she gets old enough to date.

All 3 of my girls shoot the belt fed (in a safe controlled manner) and they all love it, even the wife. I didnt know if you all would get upset that i brought her but she always goes to MG shoots with me and she was mad i didnt take her last month, shes happy now and next month me and the family are going to knob creek so i might not be there. The wife and kids have been linking ammo for the last 3 hrs, which is the part they dont like. I had a good time and look forward to doing it again. I hope i can bring caity with me again, as long as she wants to be involved in guns i will help her stay involved, its a thrill having your daughter share your interests (and its cute too!) Justin get a hold of me and we can do some shootin on the weekends here in bland its pretty much like CMMG's range. GREAT TIME look forward to next one i make! Arms stilll tired from carrying the 1919 threw COF.

double-

1. Your daughter was cute and also was safe.  I'm sure everyone will agree that it was a pleasure to have her, and a pleasure to see good parenting in action.

2. Running the COF with a 1919 offhand is... well... lets just say I'd never seen that before, and I may never see it again, but if I live to be 99 years old I won't forget it!

Wow....I'm in a lot of the photos -- Guess I'm photoshop fodder now

For those I didn't get to meet, I'm the guy in the bluejean shorts, grey tshirt and blue subaru hat that is in desperate need of a haircut.

It really was great to finally meet people, and I had a great time, but I think these shoes are permanantly muddy now.

I missed the 'scuba shoot' but this one should have a name as well -- or maybe it will just be known from now on as 'the muddy shoot'

Hey METALMAN, after Saturday I made a command decision and dropped a little money on some items I thought you might find interesting.....

After shooting Jeff's Krink, I had to have one!  Its about sixty days away (for the rifle) and who knows how long for the SBR permit.  When its done I'll bring it to see you!

Edited to fix picture link (angelfire dont like me stealing their band width!)
