Clearly the Deadpool franchise is having loads of fun with the multiverse gimmick so this should be a hilarious movie.

You need to see the Deadpool movies before this one. The multiverse comes into play at the end of the second movie and totally sets up this one.

There are also bits of the Loki series that play into this movie but I'm sure they'll throw a life line for the audience that missed that series.
