At the Indy 1500 gunshow I saw several vendors had no name A-2 uppers complete for $125 .
I thought this was a very good deal but when I asked who the  manufactor was one guy just said that he couldn't tell me and that they were all made by the same place for all the
AR companies . Seemed kind of strange .
I didn't get one ...... yet anyway  .

sounds very interesting, i would look further into it.

could be stolen. (this would explain the lack of knowledge on the part of the vendor)

Most likely they are some Third World knockoff, or ChiCom copy.  The firearms business is VERY competitive, and although you may not get what you pay for, you don't get something for nothing.  The major manufacturers make their own components, there is no generic manuf. who makes parts for 'all the AR companies.'  Steer clear.

I thought all the "no-name" gun show special AR parts were always made by FN.

I stay away from gunshow parts unless I know the vendor.  Even if they have a Bushamster (or any other name brand) banner over their table, doesn't mean that they are actually selling that brand of parts.

I find better deals on new stuff online.  I go to gun shows for mainly pre-owned firearms.
