View Quote That's a good one. But my favorite has to be the fantasy knives made to look like the fangs of some enormous beast. With a set of blades set at 90 degrees to the handle. I would post a picture but I don't have one and I don't know what search terms I would use to look one up. Fantasy knife is kind of a vague term. |

Rambo knife.
Can't find an image that I can hot link off if google. But you know what i am talking about. |

Meh, one of my sons and my wife both carry Delica's.
I think any of the "fantasy" style of knives are generally dumb. Doubly so for these silly things... Attached File They only exist for the flea market ninjas and you can't convince me otherwise. |

Attached File Attached File As cool as this knife is, the design is pretty bad. It's self-dulling, the pivot points are weak, it's not any more compact when stowed... But the concept is awesome. So I love it despite its overcomplex nonsense |

Spydercos are great. Maybe the serrated not so great unless you cut a lot of strapping or seat belts. Any of those fantasy knives are nerd bait. Have some friends who’s 20 something son is into all that stuff. Every time I see him he’s got a new cut or some stitches from futzing around with some Dragonball Z or elf magic blade. It only stays sharp long enough to cut his ass. Thankfully. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes That is awesome haha. Quoted: Mora Victorinox Shun Minus Opinel, you made a list of my favorite knives What is stupid about Mora and Victorinox? They are both super practical tools, not made in China, and relatively cheap. For me, stupidest knife ever is a Karambit. Eyebrow peircings, Insane Clown Posse tattoos, and stories about being high on meth pretty much go hand in hand with owning one. |

Tantos are great utility knives. Having two defined cutting angles and effectively two tips in one blade was a lifesaver when I was a shipping manager back in the day. Smooth brains hate sharpening them because they way overthink it though.
I nominate anything with a front flipper. “Let’s make a flipper that’s harder to open on purpose, easier to open by accident, and requires you to grip the knife in the most unnatural way possible.” |

Fail OP, Spyderco’s are great. First company to do one hand open, first ones to do a pocket clip, first ones to put serrations on a pocket knife. High quality, moving a big portion of their catalog to US manufacturing, tons of different steels, extensive exclusive program etc etc.

In my pocket now. I prefer full edge knives but I got a deal on the partially serrated Delicas. I’m a Kershaw/ZT guy generally but Spyderco makes good stuff |
