Since when do they sell them by quantity instead of by the pound?

Thanks for the tip . Ordered Deck Plus #10 x 3-in Wood To Wood Deck Screws (800-Per Box) $32.08 delivered. Not worth my time to fight traffic and drive to the store.

Still showing $49.98 for me.
WTF?! I need these, I'm running low. |

Builders charging 100/sq foot to build a deck are gonna rejoice!!

Quoted: No idea. I just buy a 25 lb bucket whenever we need them. I stopped using those kinds of screws though so we almost never need them, we only go through about 25 lbs a year now. It used to be over 100. We now use duplex screws like true gentlemen. https://www.advancecomponents.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/shop-cat-duplex-screws.jpg View Quote For permanent applications like a deck, or just for things you plan to disassemble? |

I’m rebuilding a privacy fence this week. Should I use these vs nails?

For $100/sq ft you would love it....because it would be made of concrete, and we would pull all the screws out before we left. |

Ordered 2 1/2" and 3". The 3" I have to p/u at store, but the 2 1/2" are delivered free. Wtf Lowe's.
Lowes may have lost a customer.... |
Guy I hired to build my front steps bought the big huge bucket of those when we picked up the lumber. I was like WTF dude? You need 1/10 of those. He was hoping I was going to tell him to keep the leftovers. Nope.
I’ve built a set of steps for my dock and a small deck with steps up into my hot tub and still haven’t put a dent in the bucket yet. I think I have a life time supply. |
Thanks, I am building a deck this summer, half off screws really helps!
I went through 4 boxes of those last year while building a deck. They hold up very well, and I don't think I snapped a single screw - I was using a DeWalt impact driver.
It's my 4th deck I've built in my life, and boy does an impact driver make it a whole different (easier) job! |
Cool I can put these on the shelf next to my $0.87 lag screws
Thanks for posting this @leafinthewind local Lowes was out of all sizes so I ordered the 3" with free shipping. 800 screws should last me a couple years.
Maybe at your Lowe’s….i stopped by mine yesterday and they don’t have these on sale.
Picked up one of each today. Have a woodshed to build eventually.
thanks OP. |
Bump for still available. I got 3 boxes already and want more. Wish the shorter ones were on sale too.
Have two boxes coming, tempted to buy more - have a lot of wood projects on the to-do list.
I'm glad I went to lowes about three weeks ago and bought this same exact thing for $50. F me.
I bought some. Not planning to build a deck any time soon, but for small projects and general maintenance on my pool deck and front patio, this should last me awhile.

My small ordered cancelled for no stock at the local store, trying again at the next one.

I got mine yesterday, now what to do with 1,000 2.5" & 1,000 3" deck screw? I was planning on building a shed, looks like I'm set on screw now.

Holy shit, that's a lot of screws for $30. I might order another one so I have a lifetime supply.
